Great review Keekre! Well, it seems WR just hire professional Art critics for these WR items' box. I think thats how our Thomas items works. It Mattel/Fisher Price are the ones that who should be looking at the work of these art critic artwork of the box. You think that's worst? Well for Trackmaster, the art critic make Ryan's prototype in the box just right but for the final version, he look like a factor error in my opinion. Anyways, I really love this set. I remember 2/3 years ago I bought this set for my cousin and he love it. Keep on the good work Keekre! Never stop this amazing reviews that you are doing! :)

If I had the chance to remake this set today, I would put the castle, dinosaur park, the castle station, the railway museum, the grounds, and the area for the classic engine race would all be put on a giant play table that would be 3 risers off the ground with grooves embedded in to the wood. The same would go for the hill for the standard gage engines, the hill for the narrow gage engines, and the Ulfstead mine. Certain places like Knapford station and Knapford yard, Croven's Gate station, and Brendam docks would sit on play boards with grooves embedded in the wood so kids wouldn't have to constantly change the layout. Engines: Thomas, Edward, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Diesel, Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty, Duncan, Duke, Luke, Emily, Spencer, Hiro, Stephen, Millie, Caitlin, Connor, Samson, Glynn, Hugo, Nia, Rebecca, Sonny, and Kenji. I love this wooden railway version of Ulfstead Castle.

When you expand this set, you can add two T switches an Engine shed and another track going to the castle on the left side

I've never really collected wooden railway, and because all of the items I'm after are discontinued, there's no point in starting now, but if I see a nice item, I may purchase. I like to use your videos for reference as well

I wish I could have the King of the Railway Set, it looks so great. By the way, one time, I saw a plan of the Deluxe King of the Railway set and someone had added the Stephen in the Mines set, if you have that, you could add it to the set and put it on the track piece in the castle you told us about to make it more outstanding and add that castle crane you got. Oh, and don't forget the other add ons of Ulfstead Castle.

I agree, the fails advertisement on tomy and wooden railway boxes is really bad. I bad to show pictures of engines on boxes that are included cause it gets people's hopes up. Also, I don't like how almost every set includes a Thomas and not other engines. Also I never told you this but you are a great roll model for me

I think that there should have been a buffer included to put on that drop off when it's not used to add on to the set.

Can you do a episode called Thomas and the castle. Thomas takes the earl in any and clarabel to the castle construction site where jack and the sodor construction company are working hard with the horrid lorries and other trucks. The earl asked for Elizabeth to take the armored horse to the castle and he also asked for Terrance and Trevor to help as well as rocky, the breakdown train and Harvey to help as well as the castle crane And sir topham hatt sent Neil, Logan, Raul, Ivan, Norman , Dennis , Nash, dash, Ferdinand and Charlie to help shunt and Sam and Murdoch to pull the loaded and empty trucks and supply trains. Toby and his coach were used for workers. Glynn was shunting trucks and Millie was brought by road to the castle and hank towed Stephen to the castle. A month later was the opening day.

It would have been cool to see castle treasure on the bottom of the castle which was not detailed

in the thomas wood castle set, there is a sir robert norramby figure in a suit of armour but, you can see his face

To Be Honest, I'm not a fan of the new Thomas era from 2003 to present. But some sets look really cool to be honest.

If i had this set my way i would ad Steven with 1 or 2 of his open coaches a coach for millie and sir Topham hat but this set is still good

I really like Ulfstead Castle; Its one of my favorite destinations from the Mattel years, but yeah this set ain't it. It's way too simple for a "Deluxe" set and feels incomplete due to that unconnected end in the castle itself. I know Mattel kinda stopped including destinations you could buy on your own into sets, but man, I feel like this set would've been way more complete with the Castle Crane and Ulfstead Signal Station.

There were lots of characters on I think the sets called bender bay shipping co. set

some of the castles features look so unsatisfying. when the entrance of the castle is moved to the right and the brown track leading to the castle's lower level is exposed, it looks like the trains have to go over 2 small stairs instead of a nice smooth ride. then the section that goes over stephens shed- how does that even work? the pegs on the wheels catch the edge of the slope?
