This is exactly what DC, Bisping and Weidman should have said. Yes Alex's wrestling is non-existent, and he skipped the line. But at the end of the day, his success is his success because he wins fights.
@gorillaz969417 күн бұрын
What ?! This IS what DC said about Pereira. Maybe not verbatim, but has the same meaning. He said something like "It's crazy to me that he made this sport that i trained so hard for, looks so easy. You can be just so good at one thing and you're 2 division champion". Which meant the same thing, more or less.
@vicentesalasii148017 күн бұрын
DC has mostly been trolling, though. Sometimes he comes off as a little passive aggressive in his approach (then again, so do many others including Bisping and weidman), but from what I've seen, he's mostly joking and gives Poatan his credit. weidman comes off as more salty and resentful like the evolution of the game is passing him by, which when you think about it, it kind of is. I haven't heard what Bisping's said yet.

Lot of high level kickboxers would've been insane MMA fighters. Like Rico Verhoeven. Would easily destroy most (L)HW UFC fighters in the standup. But why should he do MMA? He makes way more money kickboxing
@enmanuel195015 күн бұрын
@@maxk880Well it depends honestly. If you reach stardom on the UFC you'll get paid more than any other kickboxing or MMA promotion. Not saying UFC pay is adequate but no one on the PFL, Glory or ONEFC is getting paid as much as people like Pereira, Jones, Adesanya or other big stars have gotten paid. Not to mention McGregor who's an outlier even among stars of the UFC. But if you're not a really big star you'll get paid better in other promotions that's for sure. If Rico joined the UFC and did as well as you expected him to he would've definitely gotten paid better in the UFC.
