It would be much better if Anti pre-amped his vocals on two separated speakers to hear the thunderous and cavernous vocals found on the first album … this video is awesome absolutely well showcases the spirit of finnish death metal.

It took me some time to appreciate these guys, I will admit. Probably a decade when I first heard them, liked them, but now this is blowing my mind for the 3rd or 4th time. Stands the test of time against all other contemporaneous albums.

One of my favorite bands. I love death metal so much, but it can often sound “same-y”. When I stumbled across Demilich, it was so weird and crazy sounding. Their riffs almost sound anti-musical with how strange they sound, but it works really well. Alongside the gurgling vocals, and the changing times and groovy bits, it just comes together in a perfect cataclysm of otherworldlyness. More “alien” sounding than anything like Rings of Saturn ever made (not to hate on them, they are great). I’m so glad bands like Artificial Brain seemingly took what they did and made it more of a “thing” in death metal, even if it isn’t all that big.

what are you talking about for a live show the mixing is almost perfect. the bass can be heard and doesn't overpower the guitars. drums sound fantastic.
