Not bad at all! Does kind of remind me of the DCS version, at least texture and cockpit wise. I honestly don't remember the flight model of the DCS one, it has been years since I flew it. But well done on this!! I may add it to the hangar, pending review of the other version.

I like to give you an update, as I have positive news! After my frustrations with this Deimos add on, I bought the SC Designs F-5, which performed way better, until... yesterday I bought the Lionheart Bellanca and that behaved really weird when deploying flaps. What seemd to be the problem? My flight model appeared to be on Legacy mode instead of Modern. That affected these two add ons, not the others strangly enough. After have set it to Modern also the Deimos F-5 flies well (maybe even better than the SC Designs one, who would have thought of that!). So in case other people are having the same issue, maybe worthwhile checking these settings. Many happy landings to you all!

I hope to start streaming at some point, i just don't have time currently... then that would be a certain possibility. As for other creators, that takes a lot of time to set up/organize. I did some flights with Jeff but i don't like to bother people :) I don't actually know any other sim creators really.

I can think of one other f5 in another Sim that more flushed out and who's textures are on point. 😝. Annnnyyyywaayyy, As always, love the video and it was awesome to see your giddy moment when you rolled over at 11k on take off. Hopefully when they release the world map for dcs we see you in the less than friendly skies to of conflict. Thanks AV 🤟✈️

The F-5 is a nice little jet. In terms of range, however, it was said that you could bomb the end of the runway. 😂 Is the EE Lightning in the sim? Because it’s take off performance made the F-5 look pedestrian!

I just bought this, but I have a problem with this aircraft and I am curious to know if more of you guys are having this. It responds very little and very slow on pulling the yoke, It feels like you cannot pull any Gs at all. The weird thing is that I have several other Deimos aircraft and no other aircraft is behaving this way. It makes it almost impossible to fly this aircraft. It feels like a Boeing 747, but instead it should be an agile light fighter. I have contacted Deimos for this and his respons is to uninstall, reboot and reinstall my Honeycomb yoke. I have done that, but with no results. Any similiar problems amongst you guys with this addon?

See if you can get your money back. Deimos has an incredibly bad reputation.

I didn't notice the pitch authority honestly.I also use the honeycomb.

Uninstall and then reinstall. You shouldn't be having any problems with it because I bought this wonderful jet this morning and it's been working flawlessly. I do however use a flight stick and not a yoke but I can't find any flaws. For $20 it's a bargain. Deimos gets better and better with every plane they make and I like them so much better than DC designs.

Deimos Inc. is a really small developer but his models are good if you are a “casual simmer” and you want just flight and enjoy the fast flight in Msfs!

You should mention the extreme lack of pitch authority with demios jets. Worst jets in the sim.

No, if it was sponsored I'd say... If i get something free I tell the viewer. Trust me, there's far worse than this... but as you hear i do criticize it and make comment on various features. Pitch authority felt ok actually, it certainly didn't lack any in this model. Other issues? sure.

Strongly disagree! I love mine. Deimos gets better and better with every aircraft. The SC/DC designs model will be garbage. They are know for their extremely bad textures, especially in the cockpit! I bought this today. Better than ANY DC designs cartoon Nintendo BS!

@@spacechimp6442 No. Some of us flew in the Military...like me. USAF 🇺🇸 . Like 99% of all pilots, I never saw combat and never wanted to see it. Some of us don't want a war simulator. Some of us just want to keep up with our piloting skills.

Beautiful boring MSFS and military planes is such a bad combo. You can’t fire any weapons etc. Get the 100x better DCS F-5 instead, it’s almost like the real thing.

99% of combat pilots never experience combat. Flying military planes is for the flight experience.
