I'll be honest I was trying to be positive and hopeful to the new tools at harborfreight. For the price of a lot of the Doyle products I personally will pay the literal couple bucks for the big brand tools, same with the Icon products there are so many great brand that are well established that at this point I again personally will continue to not shop at harborfreight tools. None the less I still appreciate you and will continue supporting your channel and content.

what do you expect for less than $9 for two beater screwdrivers? I mean I got mine so, i could abuse them as a punch & chisel on purpose. I think on sale with a coupon, the price dropped to like $7 which is even more of a good deal. Thanks for sharing!!!

Not bad for harbor freight might look into a set

A good teardown and review. I don't like how Harbor Freight does not post some negative reviews. I wrote a 3 star review (not too bad) on their Braun led stick light, generally a nice bright and versatile light. I just commented on the weak battery life on mine and that it only folds to a 90° angle. No profanity in my review, I emailed their support team and asked why my review was not posted on their website and was told they have the right not to post reviews at their discretion. In that case their customer reviews are of little value.

I purchased these a few months ago. I normaly use snap on comfort grips and the Kobalt hi vis sets. I got these mainly to try out. Sometimes I have jobs at work where instead of grabbing a pry bar for wedging purposes. I use a screwdriver. But I don't like beating on my screwdrivers without a striking cap. So I normaly carry the flathead doyle along with me. For the money and intensions I use it for (THEY WORK) and yes the handle do get a lil gummy at times. But for $8 im content. Good vids keep'em coming!

I have beat on mine like a chisel and no issues. The flat head did get a little chip out of the corner.

One of two items I tell the youngster electrical apprentices NOT to buy at Harbor Freight is their Doyle insulated Screwdrivers. (that isn't what this video was about, but I thought I'd mention it). Why? because we have all seen some poor quality in too many of the Harbor Freight tools, So, with that in mind, insulated screwdrivers are safety equipment (PPE), You wouldn't buy your parachute at Harbor Freight, same principle with insulated screwdrivers, don't risk getting hurt trusting that Harbor Freight got it right this time when you know there are brands like Klein, Greenlee, Wiha, Wera, Ideal and Fluke out there that you know get it right everytime. (((( and if your curious the other item I tell them not buy at HF are there electrical multimeters, I tell them to spend the extra cash to get a Fluke (or get a Klein or Greenlee until they can afford a Fluke) because that's another tool that has to be deadset perfect every time you use it. . . . Maybe I should do an video about the two electrical tools to never buy from HF and Why you shouldn't buy them.
