The Demon only ran a 9.65 under absolutely perfect conditions. A blown Mustang with a decent tune and radials will fly past Demons all day long. Plus, I trust Ford’s transmissions a hell of a lot more than Dodge. Same with the diff and axle. Seen too many Demons grenade their diffs.

No one here mentioned the 9.65. the matter of fact is this very same mustang has been on this channel. Lost plenty of times to a grey demon. My grief here is that it's in 11s. It should always be low to mid 10s. I rather have a factory built vehicle to handle power than run to shop after every so races. The demons blowing their diffs is because of the tires (pretty depressing considering it's the factory radials) but eh.

diazyyy run low octane gas, dont use the trans brake, dont bring the rpm up before launch , use street tires that have no traction set the computer for conservative driving conditions which takes a lot of timing out of it.

Shelby was lighter than the demon, one thing about these mustangs is that by the factory they are lighter. That usually compensates for the speed that have.
