That Vulcan doctor is more insightful than any Vulcan I've ever heard of save for Soval. She actually acknowledges human emotion and doesn't denigrate it. And for her to touch his hand like she did is almost unprecedented. Vulcans are touch telepaths. For her to open herself that way speaks of her quality as a physician. Of course she has to touch others in her day to day duties, but to do it as a show of emotional support? He could have done a lot worse for the position of Chief Surgeon; a whole hell of a lot worse.

I was not expected a fan film to have such a well acted and poingant ending.

I've been knocked down! I was sure Chief Engineer Archer would remain onboard a bit longer! I was expecting a trio, fool that I am. She upheld her family's honor and tradition. However I realize that the fans usually present a more realistic view of service aboard a Starship. People are lost and life continues on. I would like to see further adventures with this Captain. He is a sensitive soul, yet he is going to have to bite the bullet in order to protect his crew and the Federation. I like him. Was happy to see the physician reach out to him realizing what he needed, and not holding back. Crew is family. It would be lovely to see their adventures continue. I hope you all get to make more of these beautiful films in the future, as circumstances right now or so precarious. Do take care all and Thank You!

Nice to see some real Star Trek is still being made.

What I liked most was the ending to Dr. T'Mera even with Vulcan behavior trying to be empathic and comfort the Captain.

Oh my God, you guys have a great show. I am literally crying over the loss of Jamie Archer. I loved the characters, Captain Ramirez breakdown, and the resolve of First Officer Amanda Beck. It's been too long without really good Gene Roddenberry style Star Trek. I salute you guys at Avalon Universe. Navigator maintain course, helmsman steady as she goes!

I cannot believe that Lt. Archer is gone! I was really starting to enjoy her presence. Thank you for everything you put into this show; I think it's one of the best fan efforts out there. Excellent writing, good performances, and high production values. This is a true reflection of the heart and soul of Star Trek. Live long and prosper, Avalon Universe!

Okay, even though there has only been two, two-part episodes so far, this has been THE best and most enjoyable Star Trek experience I have had in neigh on a decade. Please keep doing exactly what you're doing! The blend of TOS feel and esthetic with the HD widescreen format and the sense of chemistry between the actors is really good. I want to see more of Hightower and Rook, they're great and the ship CG is gorgeous!

This made me feel the way I felt as a kid watching the original series. I think Gean would love what you all have made and would be proud to see his creation still lives in the harts of so many people. Thank you all so much for this it to will now live in my hart as well.

Nicely crafted writing , spot on effects and some very, very excellent acting, that shall bring you more followers, fans and more to hopefully continue your mission and have even more adventures , as a longtime Trek fan, this is most assuredly in the vein of the classic series and some nice touches and sprinkles of the others as well, until next time, keep the wind at your backs and looking forward following the star guiding your way.....Engage and keep the hailing frequencies open.

I know Victoria Fox wears many hats in the Avalon Universe. She wears them extremely well. My compliments to her and everyone for a well done show.

what i really like about this is that you can see, especially in the captains behavior how much he is affected. he doesnt hide it as well as his first XO.

Star Trek Continues ( ended in our reality) an excellent production that closed the original Star Trek series. I look forward to this universe ( far better, than the great deal of money mismanaged on other current productions).

Once again, I really love how the Connie looks with the blue glow behind the deflector. It makes such a difference. Really modernises the design. Samuel, you're a very talented fella. Love it😁

This is one of the best Star Trek Fan film I have ever seen/watched. Excellent production, acting and story-line. 100 times better than the garbage ST:D from CBS and a 1000 times better than its shorts.

Wow, that last scene! The Vulcan writing and acting is straight out of TOS.

That Vulcan doctor has humans pegged. She doesn't experience emotions in the same manner as humans, She wouldn't be Vulcan if she did, But she does understand that emotions cannot be dismissed or denied, And she comes to this conclusion by observation. She would make an excellent instructor of Vulcan cadets on understanding humans. Fortunately for the Excalibur's crew Starfleet doesn't seem to be aware of this. That was a fine piece of work, even with Archer's death. Thanks so much of sharing.

Really seeing improvement in story-telling, production etc. Nicely done. I especially appreciate this was not merely a shoot-em-up show. There was some heart to this one. In my opinion, too many fan films just want space battles. Real Star Trek told stories. You’re on the right path...keep it up!!

Breathtaking! It was completely unexpected to for the starship Excalibur to loose her. But it was still amazing to see the ship survive.

Well done I love see the Constitution class ships, The battle was well played out, acting is very good. Hope TO SEE MORE bring in the Gorn or the Tholions.

This is what science fiction is about. Avalon gave us the space action we crave for. The dramatic background was a plus. The story was well balanced with the crew's personal issues. Very well written and carried out. Well done to all involved. One of the hazards and the most feared of having command is the idea that one may have to send someone, even a close friend to their demise. It's never an easy thing to do, and it's hard to accept. If it ever got easy, that person should not be in command.

Love it! Never seen a Klingon BoP on TOS. It looked good. And the nod to "good shooting Mr Scott" was cool.

Opinion: The segment of Ramirez and Beck's heart-to-heart after he left the bridge was a little lengthy, especially when the chips were down and an enemy ship could destroy them at any moment. The final battle was too brief and lacked excitement. No drama, stirring music or urgency. I base my opinions on the few battle scenes that we saw in TOS. In fact, I compare any Star Trek I see to the original series because that is what started it all. Those are my only ''cons.'' The ''pros" - This is really, really well done. Everything from the visuals to the sets to the costumes and to the acting (although I would've preferred the same intensity in other scenes as there was in the highly-emotional ones). And these actors are very good looking! The camera likes all of them! If I were a kid, like I was when TOS aired, I would want to grow up and look like any of the guys on this ship. And the ladies are absolutely stunning.

This series is simply getting better and better,the storyline is riveting,becoming intensely emotional,something which could never be established in the main line Startrek films and TV. Somehow,this series is drawing viewers into a personal relationship with the characters,so that reactions to occurrences,good and bad,joyful and sad,are going to be genuine. This is an incredible achievement,given the scope,time,and budget available. Long live the Federation,and long live,and prosper,this series!

Okay that gave me chills. Thank you Avalon folks for keeping that crazy beautiful Great Bird of the Galaxy up in the sky. This may not be an exact replica, and may not be exactly what Gene Roddenberry had in mind, but this goes one better. It's a fresh new take at what makes Roddenberry's vision so appealing after all these years without being overburdened by nostalgia. A good story well written and performed. Bravo Zulu (Navy speak for Well Done!) The Doctor is incorrect about one thing, there is ONE person who is truly alone in any ship … the Commanding Officer, the Captain. Both TOS and TNG touched on this more than once. In TNG Troy was taking the exams to qualify for command and had to learn to set emotion aside, to set friendship aside and make the 'logical choice.' Beck touched on it also, 'This is YOUR ship and YOUR crew' (paraphrased.)

Wow. I'm not sure what I expected from a fan production, but you guys blew me away! The acting was pretty good, but I love that you stayed faithful to The Original Series aesthetics. Star Trek Discovery should have done that, but didn't. And the CGI is top notch. Great job guys!

Wow, this is AMAZING writing. Both parts 1 and 2 gave me goosebumps, something I don't think Star Trek has made me feel in like forever. THIS is the series that should have succeeded Star Trek: Enterprise as the next live action series. Do NOT dishonor the fans by Not continuing this series. I really want to see more episodes and missions of the USS Excalibur with THIS crew, Chuck Mere as Captain Ramirez and especially Victoria Fox as Commander Beck. Sad to see Archer die, I really like her too from previous episodes. Avalon Universe is my new favorite timeline in the Star Trek multiverse. I really love the Star Trek Beyond uniforms too 🤓

I’m only two episodes in, but I’ve been impressed from the first episode at the research and acting that went into these episodes. Absolutely amazing!

The commander number one is exceptionally gifted as an actor and has good range. The captain and rest are fairly good too. The ship design is very accurate with some good updates on bridge for monitor screens better than original. The exterior space battles, fire bursts, and ship design is very well done in production. Overall very good production!

Your videos are super cool. The acting is great and the fx add to the realism that makes a perfect fit into canon
