Well, the last part is actually a valid question. You join a club formed to rebel against social rules and norms. Okay, understandable. But you layer in WAY more rules with consequences a bit more drastic than a speeding ticket. Why? It doesn't sound like you got freedom there. Quite the opposite.

The support club is often times the farm system or the college team for the big club. They call their new potential brothers up from the support clubs. So don't ever think that just because someone is a support member that they aren't about it. They want to earn their spot in the big club so they've got something to prove

My friends & I used to be in gangs, then we turned 13. At 15 we got jobs, we worked, saved & bought houses, cars, bikes etc & we 100% own them. As for wearing patches, one friend I have got a visit off 3 patch members who tried to stand over him for his deceased mothers property. They had no idea that while they were wiping some guys ass who they were prospecting for, he was earning his golden gloves boxing award. 15 min later the Ambulance staff were scraping the patched guys off his driveway & loading them into the back of the Ambo. Morals of the story? - dont be a slave to no one. Always stand on your own 2 feet & NEVER think you have someone worked out - that is when you are at your most vunerable.

Something to add is you can be good with particular dom in one state, but the same club could also be the dom in another state and you will bot be good to fly there. Every chapter runs itself, and every state runs itself. You could be good in one part of a state and not in another part of the same state. This life has a lot of moving parts, you have to know how to navigate it, or it will swallow you up. There are not very many clubs that throw on some colors and a diamond as well without permission that last. The ones that do, are a breed all their own. Believe that shit. I have been in Motorcycle Ministry for almost 4 years and before that I was loosely associated with a 1% club and their support clubs. So if you know something about it, why post things that are absolutely false. There are plenty of organizations that fly patches that aren't required to do a lot of things those that wear a 3 piece does. You do know that, right?

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

@@jonathancox1231 The Bible says to be sober minded and filled with the Spirit. satan roams around like a lion seeking whom He may devour. That being said, Jesus first miracle was turning water into wine. He had 3 glasses in celebration at a wedding. I didn't feel compelled to quit drinking and things, too much for the first 5 years of being a Christian. God didn't deliver me, until I was wanting to quit desperately. It's a walk, not a sprint. The Bible also tells us to test the spirits, whether they are from God or not. God will NEVER tempt you or tell you to do something that's contrary to His Word. I can back up my testimony though, with many years of answered prayers that have directly from that visitation, because it strengthened my faith so much. My conscience approved of that song, and I asked in faith.

I was 23 years old and dumb af, I was riding a 67 trumph chopper i built and i was just learning how to air brush so the bike was like 8 colors of heavy metal flake candy colors,becuase i was high on acid when i painted it, i always wore a jean vest, with like punk rock band button pins, small random patches that were from events I went to in no particular order but never had a large back patch. I was at a my favorite dive bar not far where I lived, it was a large chain bar, I was there one time and group of MC's came in and looking back on it now I should have been terrified but I was to dumb to know. The MCs came in and one guy in particular asked me every little detail about all the little patches and pins I had, I tried so hard to nail the bartender to for months, dude stright shut me down and was like "hey your done" I looked at him saw his cut, then I looked around and there was like 18 of them. I looked at him back and said "I f$#cked up" he laughed and said "not yet but your close", i left and never went back to that bar lol. The next day I Googled "the collation of clubs in my local area and it had a small subsection called "bylaws" I learned those and never had a problem again. You may not be lucky enough to get a "free one" like I did.

When I was a prospect in a young Moscow MC our club and a couple of others unpatched one club because it turned out the president of a respected club lied his way to the top, he bought some medals and documents like he was a soldier vet and had a respected rank in the army. Their pres ran, but others faced our clubs, it ended peacefully, the majority of members of an unpatched club became prospects in the clubs that unpatched them. Also, in recent years there was one MC who decided to patch themselves as a 1% club with nothing to back it up and were attacked in their garages by another club, don't know how it ended. Some vests were taken, but this club's future is unknown to me.

I've been wondering about something I'd like to ask the 'community'. I'm not riding at the moment due to a severe back operation. (HD Softail/Rat Bopper)I tried to join an MC before and I was rejected but for a very good reason that made things a lot clearer for me as well, thanks to their honesty and my respect for MCs. They flat out told me 'You're a nice dude and fun to hang around with, but you're not club material, You would not function well abiding MC rules. That soothed the pill and my dream not come true and I'm super glad they pointed that out. So here's my question 'I ride alone, sometimes tag along. I only sport a side rocker that expresses how I see myself. 'Lone Wolf is a No Go and so is 'Nomad' in my humble opinion. My mindset is however that. So I came up with 'Wanderer' and that's the only side rocker I sport. and deffo nothing 'diamond-shaped' I never had any problem with it and used to live ride where Booze Fighters and the Bandidos had their turf (Near Marseille). What do you guys think?

I see a lot of strange comments in your videos. I'm not MC guy, but I have been tangentially connected in the past. It's fine if you think clubs, gangs, families etc are silly or whatever. This means your likelihood of ever having an interaction with one is very, very small. But what you think personally about something or someone does not change the reality of the situation. It seems to me that these stories are for people who are interested in that life and the message is pretty clear: Don't try to be about it if you're not about it. This is good advice across the board; bikes, patches, vests or none of the above. Iykyk

Our chapter president got his colors pulled by the State chapter without hearing his side of the story. It was unfortunate and unjustified. In the end we won by starting our own club. This was a good topic and hopefully the information shared will benefit others.

I ride an Indian and have a cooler weather jacket with a top and bottom rocker and a middle patch…top “Indian”…bottom “Motorcycles” and the Indian logo in the middle I’ve had a couple people that are not affiliated with any club tell me that I should not have any rockers on my jacket, no matter what they say if I am not in a club Any truth to that?

Respect keeps the peace. I don't care how much you love to scrap, you'll eventually get tired of it. Tired of burying brothers and other loved ones. Being an Outlaw means you are doing your thing without the law's blessings, but that doesn't mean you get to piss on the law of respect. If 1 can't take you, 2 can, if 2 can't 3 can, if 3 can't a baseball bat can, if a baseball bat can't a knife or a gun can. Nobody is invulnerable and is it really worth never feeling safe, never being safe just to piss off people who might one day save your neck or at least a whole lot of hassle? Even if you win you still lose. Self defense rarely works for people like us. So you win the fight only to spend time behind bars. Why put yourself into that situation? You ride freely without a patch because the MC's are bound to ideals and codes they enforce. One of them is to not hassle slick backs. Without the system we have there'd be a 100 poser clubs pushing and shoving everyone on a motorcycle around trying to prove they are the new top dog. Would you go over to a friend's house and say I'll do what I want, you can't order me around? When you fly colors you are entering the house of some !% club. It's no different than just walking into somebody's home and pissing on their coffee table. The 1% clubs paid the mortgage for that territory with blood sweat and tears. They buried brothers and enemies to earn the right to claim that territory. Nobody is shoving you around to expect you to earn your place in that world. It's the opposite. You are shoving people around who did it the right way and earned the patches they wear. Spitting in their face with stolen valor. Only a poser puts on a soldier's uniform and claims to have been something they are not or pretends they were a firefighter when they never were. Or puts on an MC patch without earning it. Being in an MC you take on certain rights and responsibilities. One of those is the law of respect. Being in an MC is being held to a higher standard. If you can't do that then don't pretend to be one. No one said you HAD to be in an MC. If MC life aint your thing just ride in an RC or be a slick back/independent. Aint nothing wrong with that. To most folks a biker is a biker. A patch don't make you taller, stronger, tougher or anything. The patch is just a way others can see what was already there and the work you put into earning it. You are the same person with or without the patch. As long as you are out good your brothers are your brothers still even if you or they no longer wear the patch. Brotherhood runs way deeper than donning leather and riding a motorcycle. Brotherhood is real family, even if your biological fam was crap. These are brothers who know your best and worst and are good with that, FOREVER. You can't get that just pretending to be an MC biker by throwing a patch on you didn't earn. You can't fake ties like that.

Good points here. I just wanted to point out that sose is not lying. Some clubs will patch you in over another member even if you just show face at another club house. Some can get a nomad patch just for being in good standing with the club and not have to bartend rain or shine the way probates do. Point being don't try and emulate something so toxic. Even if they did not earn the patch they are still dangerous and live by these rules.

I know a few guys in my old unit that decided to start their own MC. They were a mix of sport bikes and cruisers and male and females were equally welcome. They didn’t feel the need to contact the dominant club around the base and were considered clandestine by all the other clubs in the area. Well, one of the members had to attend a military school out of state. Once again, they did their own thing and this senior NCO decided to ride around this town in Texas with his cut on. It wasn’t long before the dom club that starts with a “B” rolled up on him at a stoplight. They told him to hand over his cut on the spot which he did immediately. Within a couple months, this military club ceased to exist. While I was attending this same school a few years later in Texas, I was telling this same story to one of my classmates that was in a club back in GA. I do know it wasn’t a 1% MC. That’s when he told me how this same 1% club rang his cellphone within two weeks of arriving to the school! He had no idea how they got his information but they wanted to meet with him. He insisted that he was only there to attend the course, he had his bike but didn’t bring his cut, and he wasn’t looking to cause any issues. They gave him a pass and didn’t contact him afterwards.

It's funny how sometimes the "system" that people create slowly end up turning into the very same "system" that they were trying to run away from in the beginning. Everyone in construction work knows about the same kinds of "hard-knocks"- guilds, associations, agencies that you have to check in with, rules you have to abide by, people you have to "show your work" to, just to even be allowed to exist sometimes; and a whole lot of times, you never knew you were even doing it wrong until you were called out when the chips were down. It always takes money, and a lot of times it takes both money and a lot of your personal time...only in the "legit" world you fail by flunking a job and having to fix whatever mistake you made, or lose your license and have to go through the remedial steps, which almost always just costs more time and money. ....pretty much never by getting your ass handed to you by a group of fat guys outside a dive bar and wondering why you didn't choose to just go to college to be a programmer when you were young.

I was hanging around a support club about to prospect when I was told the diamond club member wanted the road captain of the support clubs wife. The road captain hit the diamond member when the meeting was called the support club charter club patches and vest were pulled and shut down. I thought that was fucked up. They didn’t even try to fight for their colors they just let them shut em down. I understand now there was no choice but the pres didn’t even say what happened and put it at least on the table. The support club had TCB tons of business for the 1. I was shocked and learned it was not worth doing if crap like that happens and that was minor. Them guys deserved their respect to. All their blood sweat and tears for nothing.

Just think how many people who aren't even interested in MC's get caught up in this right out of the blue, from their POV. I'm pretty sure if they survive the experience it will leave them with a bitter taste in their mouth. I know from personal experience being caught up on something that's got nothing to do with me does leave me feeling wronged.

Just a couple of questions… I live in SoCal and driving on the freeways I often see various MC’s rolling through, either individually, a few members, or an entire chapter. I’ve often wondered about the MC’s that spread the Gospel. Is there a separate set of rules for them? If I were to stop at a diner/bar for a quick bite and rest while a 1%r club were there, would it be an issue? I don’t ride, just a regular guy.

I have one question, How do diamond clubs react to NON diamond clubs? Ones that ARE NOT and who DO NOT even "claim" to be proper MCs, who do NOT use the moniker MC at all or who do NOT claim any territory or anything? Do proper MCs have any issue with them? I myself am a member of an MA, a Motorcycle Association for Military Veterans, we dont wear an MC patch. We don't even wear rockers, just a single solid back patch. So i just wonder should i have to worry about association or being in some territory that i was not aware of?
@nathanstanley7002
@nathanstanley7002 3 ай бұрын
These are good questions. I have been in Motorcycle Ministry for 3 years now. If the Veterans Association you are a part of is recognized, then absolutely no problem. If it's not recognized, then you should be communicating with your national or, at a minimum, local officers to discuss why they aren't going through proper channels to protect its members from a possible altercation. In my experience, most all Veterans Clubs or associations are respected because that's where the MC Culture came from originally. If all else fails, find a Dominant Club member and ask for a meeting with their Secretary or Sargeant at Arms to move forward in the process. Try looking into Council or Confederation of Clubs (COC's).
