the beginning of the third set... what a total reversal of attitude. Suddenly you can clearly see how much more at ease Intaton was. She was taking her sweet time and placing her shots, almost never running after the shuttle. Great match between 2 giants.

Ratchanok is one of those few plaers you can never count out because there's always a possibility of a comeback! From match point down to winning it in the 3rd! Amazing, Intanon!

People in highlight video of this match say about the point 20-20 in game 2 should look at 40:51 , the shuttle is in so it is correct 100% point for intanon

It seems like TTY is well aware of her declining physical strength & using the tactics to put all efforts to finish in 2 sets. So close to achieve that today! Comeback stronger in France.❤❤

No!.i feel those two match points costed her this match..those two match points took a toll on her mind which led to many unforced errors in the initials of third set..i believe if she was little patient in the starting of 3rd set then she could have pulled it... What I observed that she is not mentally strong..she is by far the best women's singles player ever to the play this sport in terms of game plays and skills but she lacked little bit mental toughness at this age particularly

TTY sometimes loses the focus during a match, she says so herself. I don‘t think her fitness is „declining.“ Ratchanok did very well. Two really great players.

Love TTY! Ratchanok too! I don’t believe it’s a physical issue for TTY here, but she needs more match play. Don’t go overboard tho, much as I want to see her play! ;) Her level of apparent dejection at losing game 2 is concerning, but I don’t want to read too much into it.

TTY lost steam in first half of third game. She played quite well and dominated in first and most second games. In my opinion, she needs to re-think her strategy how to conserve stamina and also make changes how she plays when the stamina is low. In this match, she just kept attacking reqardless of her condition. I think that is a mistake.
