I was fortunate enough to witness the creativity of Maradona, fortunate enough to witness goals of Baggio, Ronaldo. This guy, for me, surpasses them all in terms of sheer will-power, creativity, physicality, vision and most importantly his ability to stamp a game with a goal out of nothing or nowhere. He became more and more dangerous as he grew older by playing deeper and pulling strings like nobody ever did and no one ever will. A philanthropic once in a lifetime player.

His first touch of the ball was the best I have ever seen and Bergkamp could score nothing but beautiful goals. So perfect, so elegant and always exactly knowing what he was doing. One of the most uderrated footballers of the game, because he was such a modest character

Bergkamp has always been my favorite player of all-time. In american Football Dan Marino was famed for his extrordinarily quick release of the football with superb power and accuracy. Bergkamp is the Marino of Soccer... best way to relate it... he could fire a lightning strike when he never seemed to even move his leg. Pure magic.
