I saw an interview with him where the guy was asking Dennis why is he such a good rebounder? Dennis said he watches the spin of the ball off the shooter's hand, the trajectory and arc of the shot. With that he quickly calculates where the ball will hit the rim and how it will act off the bounce. He also was really good at getting in position and keeping it. He could finesse boards from an opponent with a little Bird tap to himself. A lot of his rebounding was a mental game.

Sometimes Dennis can be so mature, fair, and factual. It’s a really a treat to listen to him when he’s like this. At the end of the day it’s a shame that Scottie is unhappy and can’t still be friends with MJ. But I do feel that whatever personal problems or “demons” Scottie might be struggling with(demons being things like insecurity, prior hurt feelings etc) Scottie and Michael were good teammates and provided the world with one of the most amazing spectacles and success stories that to me goes beyond sports. As a young Bulls fan similar in age to these guys at that time I am extremely grateful and wish the best for everyone. And I do think Scottie has a point about the way he was talked about in the doc but he shouldn’t let himself be shackled by it. That’s a mistake and precludes his own happiness by his own hand not others.

@jacobgordon79987 ай бұрын
They should be able to work it out. Scottie has been screwed over by his skank ex-wife and is lashing out because of that. Up until this period in their lives everything has been all good between MJ and Scottie, for 20 years. The Last Dance gave them all their flowers, but also showed all of them had their warts, too. Positive or negative, the documentary was honest about the important moments throughout the Bulls' run. Scottie is overreacting about The Last Dance because, one he has a book to sell, and two, he can't publicly overreact to his marriage being a joke. I imagine he is quite hurt by the way things have played out with the ex. But the thing is, MJ had nothing to do with it. Outside of that, Dennis Rodman has often been more thoughtful than given credit for. That Bulls team left rings on the table.

People who are butt hurt cuz they were insecure about themselves. It’s why MJ never said a word. Pip and MJ are done. There’s no coming back. That’s the sad part. But no matter what those years happened and as fans we were witnesses the best team to ever do it. It wasn’t just the winning part. But it was entertaining. Must see TV. It takes two to have an argument. MJ hasnt responded to what Scottie has said about him. Scottie has the problem with MJ. MJ has always given Scottie his flowers. In the last dance documentary, at his HOF induction speech. MJ appreciates Scottie, always has, always will. Scottie is mad because he left his wife unguarded and she took half his money, he got involved in a lot of things and lost all his money and he is bitter about it. Thats why he had to write a book to make money because he has none. The documentary told the good and the bad about Scottie, Scottie only wanted the good in there not the bad.

@@anthonylockhart6120 Scottie lost a lot of money throughout the years, his ex wife Larsa took a portion of it, his multiple failed business investment too. You're on the internet you could easily look it up.

Scottie can make average yearly salaries just by showing up and talking for 10 minutes at events and shows. He’s not broke by any means.

When a player is in his athletic prime, and commanding attention every night at every turn, he feels on top of the world. When those brights lights are ni longer on a player, and all they have os memories it is a different story. Imagine being seen as the 1(a) player to the best player in the world for ten years. Now after you're both retired your life is less flattering and the number one guy is still number one. It would take someone with impeccable character, who doesn't get jealous or envious to accept those two polar opposite, post career outcomes.

What a legend. loved him in Detroit. He's the one sportsman that could handle social media and the distractions, partying and still gave his all on the floor for his team. Never took a night off. Reason why Phil Jackson let him do his thing
