I don't know what is it about you or your video but it seems like you're the only reviewer that doesn't annoy me and that I actually want to click and watch... Keep up whatever trick you're doing!

Like the clean, pristine lines and pale grey tones of the cabin's interior that can only reinforce the sense of cruising through the sky.

That coffee/dessert tray service looks absolutely lovely. It’s so great when airlines make an effort to introduce their culture in the air.

I really love Finnair. I’ve taken the A350 twice with them and it’s a super aircraft. Everything feels well put together and solid - as you point out, the tray table is designed with the ability to leave the seat with it in place, in mind. I’ve often found it irritating to be penned into a seat and needing to use the lavatories or stretch my legs, just because nobody has collected my meal tray yet. The other bonus of taking Finnair is of course the shorter northern route via Helsinki, and the airport is probably the best I’ve visited in terms of aiding transfers. Great report as always 😎

I really like that Finnair has this tasteful minimalist interior and decor using iconic Finnish design brands like Marimekko and iittala (the glasses). So much better than the "tackier" style that some other airlines have.

I love how all of their bedding/amenities etc. is light and fresh. It adds a bit of much needed colour to travel.

Love it when a new video pops up from you, even though I exclusively fly economy, your video production and quality is amazing, makes me pretend I'm flying business class too.

Another great review! Personally, I find Finnair's Business Class much more pleasant to the eye than the fake wood and gold of certain middle-eastern carriers.

Totally agree about Finnair. I was on their A350 to Bangkok last year and it was superb. Excellent service and extremely comfortable seat and bed. Would definitely fly them again. The only downside that i had was the lounge in Helsinki. It was very very crowded so not very relaxing. I'l be flying with Turkish airlines in about a month to Bangkok business class and am looking forward to seeing the new airport in Istanbul and of course their new lounge to go with it!

Finnair were doing some really good deals last year for the round the world trips, seriously looked at the Business Class one not I am sorry I dind't go. They have a nice easy to live with decor on their aircraft much better than some others I could mention.

This one came on my auto play after watching your Hotel Indigo review, having never seen a Finnair review l had to drop.a comment because this plane impressed the heck out of me, the no overhead bins in the centre, the cool white seating combined with the lovely green and white pillows gave the cabin a sleek, fresh and stylish look. I have taken the HGK-HEL and then CPH economy route with Finnair four times. The A350 is a real asset. Great video as per usual.

Fantastic video, again, Dennis!!! I too was (actually) delighted to see that the IFE screen gave you a schedule of food service for the flight. That's super helpful for anticipating and planning your sleep, snacks, movie times etc. I'd give this 10 thumbs up if I could.

Many people may not know this but Finn air was the first airline to fly nonstop commercially from Europe to East Asia on their DC-10 aircraft flying in international waters.

Flew from Bangkok to Manchester return on Business Class last week. The A350 is great, as is Finnair.

Thanks for the high quality TR! They just have introduced the afternoon coffee, something very Finnish/Nordic :) Japan is one of Finnair's main markets, this summer season they have 31 weekly flights to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, plus a codeshare with JAL (B787) on NRT-HEL. They started Tokyo in 1983, first their DC-10ER used the longer (13h) polar route, the Siberian airspace was closed for them for many years.

Thanks Dennis. I'm flying to Sydney (and back, a month later!) via Helsinki & HK from the UK in a couple of months' time, so it's good to see that it's a good product. I always said I'd do the Sydney trip business class one day....God knows I've spent enough time trying to get some sleep in an economy seat in the past! And I get Qantas for HK-SYD and Cathay for SYD-HK on codeshares so I get to try out three airlines' business class. The Finnair fare was by far the lowest out of the more well-known airlines. Just flew 787 for the first time last month and now I get to do A350.

Other than the colour scheme the interior layout and fittings look very similar to what CX use on their A350’s - sadly I haven’t flown Finnair for years - excellent and informative review

Great review! As I become more travelled, my preferences in business class have changed. The key for a good lounge for me is that it must have good showers with amenities, particularly when I am transiting, and on the plane, there must be a good lie flat seat so I can sleep. All else is secondary!

Beautiful cabin and nice food. They took a lot of effort to provide Japanese dishes so like you did, you can have a Western course and a Japanese one. Great.

I enjoyed my HEL - SIN flight on Finnair a few months ago, with a few differences: 1. I ordered reindeer for dinner before my flight (only on ex-HEL flights) 2. Being a red-eye flight, all the courses arrive at once 3. The cabin crew were all Singaporeans (I think there are no Finnish cabin crew on the flights in/out of HK as well) Great job with the videos, as always.

Enjoyed that, thanks. Just booked British Airways flight BA 009 London to Bangkok (return) Premium Economy. That's always great! They even upgraded me to Club world last time I flew with BA. Happy travelling Dennis.

A nice tip is that they operate their morning service to LHR and back with the A350 and especially in business class you get a lot more for your money compared to the usual A32X service on other times of the day

I've been a fan of your videos for a while but have never commented. Your videos are all so welll put together and interesting even though right now I could never dream of travelling business class. I'm just finishing my degree in German and am going to teach English in China for a year. I hope one day my interest in languages will help me to find a career that allows me to travel as much as yours does

Love your reviews, Dennis! Your format is perfect and I choose airlines based on it. One small gripe: not all of us can access first class lounges when flying business class - I'd prefer to see where I'll be slumming it lounge-wise when flying one of your reviewed airlines.
