Dennis I have a question that I was going to ask you in person at Doha airport, we caught the same flight back to Adelaide arriving on Saturday 25th May but I missed you :( Which Airline would you recommend to fly from Adelaide to Vancouver in Business Class?

I was in Manas with the US Air Force in 2004. One of the coldest winter's I ever experienced haha...but it was an awesome place to be for an AvGeek with all the old Soviet and Russian aircraft there. I would love to go back and see what it's like now...such a throw back to the soviet era. So neat. Safe travels!

tbh i dont think any class above premium economy is worth it on any airline. I once flew business class on KLM. it was amazing, however, so was the price. you're still getting to the same place as economy. the only reason i think premium economy is kind of worth it is because its not that more expensive than normal economy. i've once upgraded to premium economy on airfrance through miles, and it was amazing. its still nowhere near business, but so is the price.

Another good video, thanks for taking the time to do them.😀👍 A suggestion. Can we see one on how you organise your luggage, cabin bag, travel documents etc etc? The hacks you use to keep yourself organised etc. 😀

There should be a law on YT that 80% of these flight takers content should be in cattle class instead of lording it up in the front. In 2001 I flew to Dubai on Emirates bùsines class and we were bumped up to First on return to Cape Town.I must admit that is the way to travel. Food and booze served non stop. Going to Cambodia soon probably with Qatar and cattle class looks okay.So long as it get me there in one piece job done

It was economy on Uzbekistan Airways in the cheapest seats I could find, but the price I got was pretty amazing. I was seated just in front of their bathrooms and, in flight, I met some charming passengers as they waited. I've flown US economy on several airlines and my expectations were low, but met, nonetheless. I'll admit, I was taken aback when the co-pilot came back to me, handed me a grease rag and asked me to check the oil in both engines. It was apparently proper in Europe since he handed me a laminated card of directions. I came back, reported the left engine was a quart low, and found my wife was busily cleaning their bathrooms as we pushed back. Again though, we got a really good deal for our tickets and neither of us minded taking the captain and FO's dinner trays off to the trash with instructions to drop them at the McDonalds (We do hope Uzbekistan Airways will recycle more of their trash very soon.).

Another fabulous video! Thank you for sharing your experience. In light of Singapore and Qatar Airways both having severe turbulence issues... it would be reassuring for some of us anxious fliers if aviation kings such as yourself could share your experiences with turbulence over the years, how to best deal with it and how to ensure it doesn't stop us fron travelling by air in the future.

Ouch....didn't know about the A350 foot problem when sleeping. I'm flying Singapore this Fall - SFO-MEL in Business so kind of bummed that I'll have to sleep on my side. Flew Singapore in A380 a few years ago and didn't have this problem.

I hope not kid. Last thing anyone wants are whiney kids on the phones, making off colour comments for an entire trip, without the ability to find the locations on a globe (half likely think the earth is flat as that feckless nonsense spreads online also).

Great video. There are more than 5 'stans, which ones are you referring to?
@YukonGhibli3 күн бұрын
The five stans refers to the five post Soviet stans, not every country with the suffix 'stan'.

Great video Dennis! Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 Air seems GREAT! Truly a lost gem 💎 in a swarm or other more well known airlines and they remind me a lot of Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Airlines a pretty small not super famous carrier but they do all the right things and do them very well! Also at 1:45 that helicopter 🚁 is doing what is called “hover taxiing” a very standard practice for a helicopter it’s perfectly safe and pretty fun to watch or to ride in! That helicopter is also an Airbus AS-350 better known as an “A-Star” they’re fabulous aircraft mostly sold to tour operators as they have large picture windows great for sightseeing flights to some BEAUTIFUL places or some people have used them as business transport corporate aircraft too. I flew on a helicopter and H-130 it’s sucesor on a flight over The Grans Canyon and it was amazing 🤩 check out that video here if you’re interested: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oNypmpygtK_Gaac.html Also I recently made a cool new video taking a “mystery trip” where I had no idea where I’d end up and it was pretty cool and unique for sure, I eventually ended up in Brazil 🇧🇷 a new country for me. A more detailed “review” video is coming soon but for now plz check out the mystery trip here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eddif7po3c2mnJc.html Cheers 🥂 mate! Here’s to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 Air who I hope to try someday and to you and your awesome channel, you always delivery every time! 😎 Finally at 6:20 I just noticed that’s a golden eagle! 🦅 VERY COOL!

The 'stans have always interested me on how they emerged after the fall of the Soviet Union. I can't remember if you have visited Kazakhstan and it's national airline? I have heard good things about that airline. Finally, loved the infusion of Aussie slang with the , "Ya, Naw" list of job you'd like to do!!! Cheers, mate.

The staff on these Asian carriers seem laid back and keen to make your flight experience a good one. Contrast this to American carriers, especially at the gate.

We will be flying Durban (South Africa) to Seattle in December. We have done this twice before on Qatar. We can’t afford more than economy class. Qatar has better economy class seats than most of the other Middle Eastern airlines that we have flown.
