Density - Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom

A deep zoom to a magnification of 1e1635. Lots of shapes made by spirals in this one. For the colour I went with a restricted set of hues, but lots of contrast. All music in this one is by Ooyy, if its not your style then play your own tunes.

I always wonder if we are just existing on a small speck in a fractal. The existence of fractals mathematically proves that the universe itself could just be a never ending infinite zoom in or out place

i think you are onto it yes.. like they say time is only a one now moment zooming away or towards itself. its not a linear one way path

I was wondering if you would be interested in making fractal zooms of other less common fractals (than the Mandelbrot, such as the Buffalo fractal) because I think it would be great to see something new Also I enjoy these videos a lot

Are you going to explore other fractals? The Mandelbrot Set is impressive, but I wonder what zooms on other fractals would look like. The Nova fractal is scarily complex, you can find anything there including minibrots.

Hello Maths Town, I am having issues with Key Frames Movie Maker, it always hang when it’s at 00002 and for that it does not encodes, this started recently. And the AE plugin does not display the exact image when compares it to the jpg images.

i've always been wondering... The number "i" (real part: 0, imaginary part: 1) is part of the mandelbrot set, since it doesn't go to infinity, no matter how many iterations we do. And it does look like it's on one of the "antennaes" of coming from the period 3 bulb. But I've never see any zoom videos or even pictures of what that area looks like. Where does the point fall exactly? Is it at the very edge of the antennae? Or at the edge of the cardioid and main circle of a minibrot? It does have the period of 2, but I'd guess it SHOULD be special in a way.

@@thelocalnecromancer1224 When you keep iterating, the output values sometimes converge to a single point. This is called a period 1. If they oscillate between 2 attracting point, it's called a period 2. For example, if we start with -1, the results are exactly (-1)^2 -1 = 0; then 0^2 -1 = -1, so 0 and -1. It's period 2. There are some great explaiantion videos on this, but the points in main cardioid of the mandelbrot set all have a period of 1. The main circle has a period of 2, the largest bulbs on the top and bottom have 3, and so on. The largest mini mandelbrot on the real number line has the exact same periods, but all multiplied by 3 (so the main cardioid has 3, the main circle has 6, etc.). So I wonder how the region around "i" looks like.

Hi there! Can I ask, what CPU are you using to render your animations, and how long per minute of animation does it take you at 60fps?

AMD Threadripper 3990X (64 core). Ultra deep ones like this are usually over a week, sometimes several. Zooms to a depth of about e150 are much easier to render through, and can be done on a modest desktop.
