Good idea for a show, thank you. I think Payton should name Bo as the starter at the beginning of camp. Do not screw around with it. At this point I think both Nix and Stidham can win with this roster and staff. If Nix starts, they have a valuable backup in Stidham. That leaves Wilson as the odd man out and probably on the practice squad and the emergency QB on game day. Wilson is a reclamation project (at best) and maybe Payton can turn him into a QB with some sort of trade value. I quit watching the NBA when Michael retired, the NHL when Gretzky retired, and golf when Tiger petered out. MLB got too boring for my taste. That pretty much leaves the NFL as my sport of choice. Thus, I need Denver to win so I can enjoy my sport.

Stidham will start the first pre-season game away, Nix will start the second pre-season game at home and it will be played off as if there is actually a QB competition, but Nix will start the third pre-season game and ultimately then be named the starting QB. It's all HR/PR/Coachspeak trying not to tip their hand and making them work more and harder to get the best out of their workers just like any corporation would do with their workers. Nobody is going games to see Stidham start. I could see a scenario where Javonte could be traded during camp if another team loses a RB to injury, and Samaje Perine could be moved or cut just to save money. McLaughlin, Estime, and Watson could likely be the backfield if he doesn't get his burst back post-injury.

To me there is no Timeline for when the QB spot is decided, if you try and put a timeline on it then you could put yourself in a position of making a decision that could be forced and wrong, to me it happens on the field and it will be clear, not in the coaches office by a calendar. I think if that is the case then it’s going to be another long season for us.

Bo needs the experience. Need to build the team around him. He might struggle a little, but he'll learn faster and they can build the team faster🏈

Both Elway and Manning started as rookies and they both struggled (Manning still holds the record for interceptions as a rookie) but they both obviously overcame those starts. I wholeheartedly agree they should give Bo the chance to succeed or fail and I normally would not agree with starting a rookie QB. Bo seems different.

If a QB on another team goes down in camp, then hopefully Wilson can be traded for a late round draft pick next year or perhaps a 4th or 5th round in '26.

If Bo starts the season, struggles a little bit, and needs to get benched, Broncos country should not panic because that's exactly what happened with elway when he was benched for Steve de Berg for a few games. It's a part of the process and it will not hurt him if he gets benched for a little bit.

Hope it doesn't. Waste of time and Bo's development if it does. Bo should start. This is a team that's building. No reason to have Bo sit. Team should grow together.
