This is a make it break it year for boles. My hope is he proves he’s a top tackle in the league and forces the broncos to give him another contract.

Bolles is 32 this year I really like him but I also really hope we don't sign him to a huge long term contract at this point in his career. I think we need to draft a LT in next years 1st round. Also gotta think we now have a boat load of $ invested in LG, RG, RT. Can we really add another $20 million on the salary cap to the O-Line? Drafting a LT could give us a good player on cap friendly contract

@@JasonBonney-pu3bd It took a few years before Bolles became the tackle he is. I agree about him being too old for a long-term contract. I do think they need to find a new left tackle, but they should keep Bolles until they find a replacement. That would suggest to me a one- or two-year extension.

@@billbellell9462 I agree IF, IF, IF he will agree to a short term contract. May be a team out there who offers him a 3-4 year deal. I suppose we could franchise tag him but that would be a $20 million+ 1 year contract. If they can fit that in their cap then that's an option I suppose.

@@JasonBonney-pu3bd Tackles age fine in the NFL, the top tackles are mostly 32-34 range. With the exception of Trent Williams. If Boles says look I want to stay in Denver long term and takes a team friendly deal I’m all for it. I would much rather Denver use that first round pick on the defensive front for a change.
