The People's Court

The People's Court

Күн бұрын

The plaintiff says the careless defendant went through a stop sign on his scooter and ran into him when he had the right of way. Now he won’t reimburse him for the damages and has filed a claim with his insurance. He’s suing for repair costs. The defendant says the plaintiff keeps changing his story and never reported the accident to his insurance. They’re countersuing for hospital bills.

What hope do kids have with parents like that mother. The young mans shock at the judge telling him how it is shows that his parents had made every excuse to blame the plaintiff. "aggressively asked if he was ok" It took JM about 30 seconds to see what was up.

It’s so simple accidents happen take accountability and fix the damage

I wish they would do an update on this show of who have actually been paid their judgement. I’m sure less than 1/3 of the judgements on this show were ever paid. I guarantee this plaintiff will never see his judgement. This 14 year old kid is not going to get a job and pay it. His parents aren’t going to pay it either seeing that they have no legal obligation to. I was going to take a previous employer to small claims court for unpaid wages. He said to me “ all that will do is prove I owe you the money, it doesn’t mean you’ll get it any sooner” That guy was a total piece of shit, and I hope his business went under.

The show pays the plaintiff not the defendant, so just FYI, all these court shows. They pay both sides to appear, bet 250 to 400 to appear and say their story which is real. And whom ever gets the ruling, the show pays them whatever the judgment is. So, its never out of anyone pocket, except court cost.
