When you are protecting a client where else are you going to be? When the client gets up to go somewhere do you think you ask: "Would you like me to come with you?" Course not! You have one job and that is to ALWAYS BE COVERING YOUR CLIENT. End of story. FYI.........Used to be a body guard for some high profile people. Never once asked: "should I come with you?"

Tango early in the movie kept disrespecting Frank. Tango believed after Bumpy Johnson died that he was going to run Harlem. Frank had to show him who was in charge here. It was cold and calculated. He knew exactly what he was doing.

True but after Bumpy died, Tango believed he could tax dealers 20% that operated in the neighborhood, including Frank. In their interaction where Frank was having coffee, Frank dismissed all that because Tango didn’t have the authority to do so. When redtop gave Tango the package, he never intended on paying Frank because he was trying to one up Frank for the tax ordeal.

Frank took the pains to empty the granulated sugar in the jar into a plate on the table because he didn't want to waste it. He very well could have tossed the sugar into the street as he stepped out of the diner, yet he had no second thoughts about 'wasting' Tango's life. Bro, that's cold as dry ice. 😄

Interesting fact, Idris Elba was so surprised by the discharge from the gun (there was no blank so he was safe but still surprised) he fell backwards and yelled out, "I've been shot!"

What's interesting is that the real Frank Lucas was nothing like his portrayal in this movie....in fact Frank's personality was actually similar to the way they portrayed Nicky Barnes...and Nicky was more like Denzel's character in real life. Old timers that knew both men have stated this....it's like Nicky and Frank switched their personas for this movie
