Island Life it was reported that the members were all physically and mentally abused by their producer. The leader, Lee Seok Cheol, held a press conference to speak out about the abuse, saying “From 2015 to 2017, our music director made sure we did not make mistakes during practice rehearsals. He habitually beat us with a baseball bat or a steel microphone while forcing us to hold a push-up position.” They have since broken up,, it’s honestly really saddening hearing what he did to them. stuff like verbally abusing them, slapping them, and as he mentioned, hitting them with a baseball bat, and threatening them to stay quiet. Chairman Kim Chang-Hwan of their company was revealed to have turned a blind eye, only telling the producer to “go easy on the beatings”. if you want more thorough information, I suggest you search up on it

i know alot of people find this video in their recommended randomly so here is some help for yall!! the group that you see here is theeastlight!! they were a six member band under media line entertainment that debuted in november 2016 and disbanded (not officially) in october 2018. they're mostly known for their drummer and bassist that sued the media line for child abuse. there is alot of split sides on that though, even in tel. ( i recommend watching untold story: theeastlight's abuse case on the channel "find truth" to get to know more about both sides ) so heres a bit about them and what theyre doing now: jeong sagang, the one singing here: 02 liner, vocalist and guitarist in theeastlight, v e r y active when it comes to music. now signed to peak entertainment. was seen on the youtube series 10 minute live a few weeks ago.
