@@keegan773 if you are going to try something new, maybe don't try it against the champ... it's like trying out defensive boxing against Floyd Mayweather. He has to evaluate his weaknesses, drop back a bit and build himself up using those skills rather than just pure power to take another shot at the top because just power isn't keeping him with a belt.

@@adamrichmond6348 Yeah, I thought taking the fight with Fury was a bad idea considering he could've taken a large sum of money to step aside. If he continued fighting other opponents in the meantime he could've worked on some of his actual technique and *maybe* even attempt to regain the heavyweight title one day. But with his current skill level there is no way for him to expect to defeat the current #1 in the heavyweight division.

Some use the hot dog fenders they push around as a work out . Some wilders camp picked were jannaters and part time beggars many of who were of no fixed abode . Absolute rock bottom and not even listed in the ranks of the first 10 20 0r 50 even . There was to opponents wilder fought when is record was at already 30 0 and one was ranked 200 something and the other 140 something . That is called fraud. As a champion ones camp should always pick a top ten contender otherwise whats the point . Its not like tennis where a wild card and unseated player cans pring a surprise . Heil Fury and here the wilders fans are banging on about loaded gloves . A joke.

All those KO's, but in surely the most washed out division in heavyweight history? Half of them looked like they were in a Bingo hall and nearly all of the guys were just standing there to be hit. He's been in 4 good dust ups - the 2 against Ortiz and the 2 against Fury, and he's won 2 of them with KO's, drew 1 only just, and lost 1 very badly. That said, all of those 4 fights have been wildly entertaining though. Looking forward to tonight's final fight against Fury.👊

At his weight and power there is no doubt that Wilder is a handful, but personally I think it has ultimately been his undoing. The quality of the first dozen or so guys he fought was questionable and he never really boxed at all. That lack of ring craft ultimately cost him when he ran into a proper boxer in Fury; Fury was not intimidated by Wilder's power punching and was good enough to take whatever Wilder could throw at him, and then give it back double. In his early fights Wilder had some impressive speed and movement but that seemed to disappear as he grew more and more reliant on knocking opponents out. I think in his last fight with Fury he had begun to realise that he needed more than just a big punch to beat Tyson, and in the early rounds he looked like he was really thinking about his craft. I really think that Wilder's real problem was in the main the lack of decent opponents who had the skills to really box him, and where he could get lots of rounds under his belt and not just rely on his big punch. Compare him to Mike Tyson: Tyson was a massive puncher but he was also a great boxer coached by one of the true greats. When you look at the skills of the boxers that Tyson fought in his early years compared to the guys that Wilder fought, there is absolutely no comparison in terms of boxing skill or quality. I'm not sure that Wilder can learn the necessary ring craft now that would make him effective enough to challenge for the heavyweight crown again - only time will tell, but he is certainly an exciting boxer and significantly contributed to one of the best heavyweight bouts of all time.

I agree there Mark. Credit also to Fury for using his body weight on Wilder in the clinches to tire his legs out. Call it whatever - ring craft, fight I.Q, ect. In any case Fury had it in Spades compared to Wilder's previous opponents.

I wanted to see some of Wilders earlier fights after watching the trilogy fight. I noticed that in the first couple round with fury he was working the body and keeping his hands up but when he started to feel like he was winning he stopped listening to the coach and his right hand was down at his waist. That tends to be his go-to. He just drops the right hand and load it up and walk towards them. Poke with the left and throw the right.

Haven't seen this kind of talent in a long time. Remember, he got into the game late and started boxing in '05..only 14 years total. the reason i dont rate denotay is te fact that ortiz a man whi is decent to rock him...im not trying to haste on him but if you didnt know he wasnt suppose to fight against denotay as he was ddemanded not to fight by his doctor of his serious health issues and said he's going to because he was desperate for the money..so ortiz in bad form and not high end heavyweight star(not saying hes bad) being able to drop this guy ansd almost finish him doesnt give denotay a good look...thats what i mean so no need to get buthurt bout ortiz.

@@kuratilakoy3761 Dude, don't exaggerate. 0:44 Deontay Wilder v Jake Lamotta, apparently. The 40 wins is completely inflated. Wilder might beat Tyson Fury's ass but I wouldn't be shocked if Fury won.

I felt insulted watching this reel.. the eff is wrong with the division? Maybe 29 title belts was a bad idea? Deontay has the boxing skill of a high schooler. No kidding a real fighter danced around and outclassed him a couple times. Fury isn't anything to write home about either ffs. Pretty good, but no legend of the sport. Nothing like men before who stepped into the ring as HW.

He lost to 1 boxer! Who's the world champion. And that wasn't an easy fight for Tyson at all. So what are you talking about? Pathetic weak losers on here who just couldn't wait for this black man to lose. And I'm a Tyson fan over him. But I can see what you loser's are about. Big scary black man! I'm scaaaaarrred!! And feel jealous when I see one with a beautiful white girl that'll never even look at me. I'll put him down and EVERYTHING he accomplished because he lost to ONE guy. LOL! So pathetic.

Mike Tyson is one of the most elusive heavyweight in the world ever. That obvious right hand would not land. Tyson would close the distance instantly, and from then on Wilder is on his backfoot, getting destroyed by bombs with both hands from Mike. Probably his worst match up ever since the peekaboo completely cancels out his long right hand.
