Airport information: Paris Airports - How to Check-in & Depart from Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1 in Paris, France. We are at Paris Airport or Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) as it is called. This video will show what Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1 is like and how to do a Departure from Charles de Gaulle Airport and includes the Check-in Area, Airport Information Monitors, Self-service Check-in Kiosks, Baggage Drop for checked baggage, Departures Area, Duty Free Shops, Airport Lounge, Airport Restaurants, Airport Gates right through to the Boarding of the aircraft.
This Charles de Gaulle Airport video does not include Security Control as this area may not be filmed. Immigration (Passport Control) is not included either. We were flying from France which is an EU Country to Denmark (also an EU country) so we did not have to pass through any Immigration. Paris Airport code is CDG.

Beautiful airport but claustrophobic tunnels for sure. LOL It is always the case when you are in a hurry that parties of people just block the walkway instead of being courteous to other passengers trying to get where they are going? Well great news here, husband is taking me on my first flight since my stroke. I am so excited though my views will be different at times I really am looking forward to just enjoying myself. Watching travel videos especially when travelling through airports really let me understand what I will deal with moving from destination to destination. Thank you for helping me with that!😊

This was not our favorite Terminal at Charles de Gaulle Airport but we did enjoy the unique walkways and translators. Just came across your channel, I love airport videos, I just find them fascinating and that looks like a very confusing airport, I'd certainly get lost there and the interior decor remind me of a train station, rather than an airport but great video. look forward to watching more of yours.

[EN] The jonction of Terminal 1's bording rooms (satellite) at CDG is a perfect amelioration for this terminal. I hope to see this new boarding room ! [FR] la jonction des satellites du terminal 1 de CDG sont la parfaite amélioration nécessaire pour ce terminal. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Like all airports there is a Check-in area where everybody can go. After check-in there is the Departure Area upstairs, only passengers can go there. Have a good day.

Great information except I was expecting to see you drop the bags off..from getting a boarding card to saying we've dropped the bags off was a little bit of a disappointment for me!.is it like a line of people queuing like to check in normally?...or is it an area where you just "drop" your bags?...I'm flying from T1 and I must say it looks a little daunting!..otherwise great! 👍

Hi there Herbert, thanks for watching and commenting. We also found this airport to be slightly confusing, they could definitely do with a few more information monitors. The Baggage Drop can be seen at 04:37 and we scanned the bags with a self service scanner (did not show that). There was an assistant on hand who helped us, so we did not have any problems. The Self-service Kiosks are easy to use and usually at most airports there is a dedicated staff member there to assist passengers who have not used them before. Hope you enjoyed the video!
