I edit homemade videos from Deftones (videoless tracks only) and publish them on my youtube channel with no monetization of them, just for fun. I don't know if it is the same case with you and your channel, but this... is just mesmerizing; on a way different level and compromise with all the visual effects you grant to the lyrics. Obviously subscribed! I couldn't find this music version on Spotify, Can you grant me this music version name? Who did this remix of the original DM "Going Backwards"? Can I find it somewhere?

Depeche Mode is such a great band and so underrestimated amongst rock bands. What started as an electric pop band really evolved in one of the great rock bands of the last decades. And my God yes what a singular and great voice. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. First heard New Life at a house party in September of grade 10, 1984. I had to ask the hostess what was playing with her responding " It's Depeche Mode silly, don't you know!?" I've known ever since. Saw them on the Violator tour in Calgary, Alberta with Nitzer Ebb supporting. Pivotal. This track mirrors what's happening today.

Depeche Mode, has made another great masterpiece as no other band can, most of the crap nowadays is irrelevant, useless, has no creativity or meaning, but their music actually touches the inner soul of people who listen with an open mind. If we all keep chasing this old hatred, we're never going to move forward much further ahead in future "because life will no longer exist", then we'll all be going backwards, and nowhere good:)

I agree completely although they are sounding VERY much like Nine Inch Nails both lyricly and in sound. Anyone who is a fan of this song should maybe try listening to Nine inch Nails " The background world" and " sum zero ". I have grown up listening to both of these Amazingly Brilliant bands, and I am so relieved that between the two there are hours and hours and hours of creative beauty. As well as music that has meaning.

Two years after releasing SPIRIT" I still ADORE BOTH TRACK & VID..INCREDIBLY WELL DONE!! It reminds me THE MODE of the past.. Simply UNIQUE.. A WONDER ALL THE WAY THROUGH.. Thanks once Again, YOU & DM really nailed IT...LOVE TILL THE VERY DAY I PASS AWAY..Can't,Couldn't Live Without their MUSIC,TALENT & SPECIAL HUMAN MANNERS...OH NOOO, NO WAY!!!.. One of the most ingenious of the synth rock bands that were so prevalent in the 1980-90's. DP really hit the scene on the head with it's intricate rhythms and lyrical genius, perfect blends of vocalizations and righteous instrument segues with that always haunting electric piano and drum kicks. Powerful shit that drew you in and would not let go. The minute you here that one particular beat of opening sound you know who it is immediately, like you would with U2 perhaps? You didn't have to be all black Goth and gloomy to appreciate their genius and talent, we all got the groove and the inner head and heart feelings that these cats were putting out. ...and the dancing was quite interesting too, lol.
