Thank you, thank you for sharing your experiences in living in an RV with a CAT. I love cats. I used to have a cat just like that one when I was a little girl. Yes, living in an RV full time has advantages and disadvantages. By being patient, you can save money until you think that it is time to settle down in a home. It is a lot better than having monthly bills every month. I wish both of you good luck with your adventures traveling and gaining experiences in every place you visit. If you guys ever come down to SouthWest of Arizona, please keep in touch with me. I love to meet you. Take care of each other and your Cat.

Safe sailing! Please, be sure to train kitty to wear a life jacket with flexi-flag and keep it on her/him all the time. I sailed for years with a Yorkie and a Maltese, and their life jackets came in handy more than once! I trained them to swim on command by saying, "Swim" every time they were in or above water and doggie paddled [even the bath tub]. That way, when they did fall overboard, they knew exactly what to do. Those were awesome times!

Thanks for posting. Love how honest and genuine you both are about your experience thus far, not just about the logistics and functionality of the actual space, but of two humans and a cat functioning in that space. We just bought a Ford Econoline 350 that can tow our 7x10 grilled cheese truck with us around the continent eventually, after conversion. Following on KZfaq and various other platforms. 👍🌲🎥

Some folks drill lots of tiny holes through the solid sleeping wood surface so moisture can be released and the mattress can breathe, make the hole far enough apart to keep the wooden board strong. A friend told me about it many years ago, it works well.

It's 2 yrs later, but your home reminds me of mine. I've been living in a small camper for the last 18 mo and I still love it. It's beautiful, but I have some things I want to do with it. I've been in the back corner of my good friend's house, and since I travel for work, I enjoy the security that comes with that and it's a big yard with lots of room. I also have a big orange kitty I adopted, so Oliver along with my small pupper Benjamin, have the perfect size home for us. I hope you've adjusted well to yours. 😊

There is a product called "Damp Rid" for RV and boats. I'm in Houston TX and find it at Lowe's and Home Depot. I have a 40 foot shipping container for storage and the condensation just dripped off the ceiling. This solved the problem. Happy trails!

You kids should consider getting a mini wood stove. They are really tiny and Do Not take up a lot of room at all. The stoves burn small pieces and you can pick up all the wood you’ll need for free. That takes care of your heating woes completely. The mattress situation can be solved for @100 bucks by buying a memory foam mattress online. You can get scraps and smaller foam pieces and put them together with 3M adhesive if your really on a tight budget. If you can’t sleep on that kind of mattress you can’t sleep on anything. You need to find a semi-permanent place to park. It may cost you some money but your safety and comfort is worth it. Most importantly you should think of your adventure as an extended vacation. Be nice to each other, be kind to each other and have FUN. GOOD LUCK KIDS❤️

From personal experience....try 2 avoid the temptation 2 use the bthrm as storage.....U will enjoy your. bthrm and how much easier it makes your life. Having power-water-sewer, really helps, and can feel much more comfortable, and save a lot of time. Also, low cost RV parks, end up costing LESS, than starting the rv every day, and moving the vehicle... which we all know, the vehicle has to be moved OFTEN.

You guys are such a cute and sweet couple. It seems like you really care about eachother and are so considerate of one another's feelings. I laughed so hard when you said that living in the RV vs. the apt. you never get bored because you are too busy with all the problems lol. And you both laughed about it, I thought it was just so funny and it's great that you can laugh about things like that. Hang in there, I'm sure things will get better in time. Remember to always communicate, it is so very important in a relationship, and don't give up your dreams. Thank you for being honest and talking about the not so good things that alot of others tend to leave out. I wish you both the very best. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. 👍🌳📹 😄🙏

I really appreciate it when people share all aspects of mobile life. I can relate to all of these things you are talking about. I used to run a carnival and I had an older class a (really beat up, not mine, I just lived in it) and I pulled rides with it, then I bought my brother's 16x8 trailer which I pulled with the class a. I was so much happier living in the little trailer! It was a 1973 grizzly. It was in mint condition and everything worked perfectly! I had a nice, tiny bathroom of my own...I had hot water 🤩, I was happy and comfortable. The things you take for granted, you don't realize until you don't have them. 🌞🚙

I may have commented previously. I love how you renovated this Toyota RV. We have a 1992 Toyota Winnebago Warrior that we bought from an Ebay seller for $11,000 and at face value it looked great but the drive home indicated it needed a lot of work! Now we are in the process of replacing the fuel pump in the gas tank along with other repairs I must make prior to selling it to the next proud owner. We have since upgraded to a 2017 Coachman Orion so our Toyota is surplus to our needs. I'll probably add a TV, inverter, and a few other upgrades to ours before listing it for sale. I got some great ideas looking at your video that I will probably use for ours. Great video by the way! We live in West Melbourne Florida.

Tell Emily please if she puts catnip leaves in the pet area. Their cat will automatically start using the spaces dedicated for him. I really don't know why cat owners don't know this. Lovely inside build. That bed 100% needs to be changed. If you are going to live in a van, comfort needs to be at the top of anyone's list. Basic needs. A decent nights sleep. The bed comfort must be priority. I love the snack box, another priority to give a sense of normality 😉 Planning to do this kind of journey solo. I agree Emily not everyone needs to know your business. Really no reason to tell anyone unless you feel it's essential to your life.
