I have tried using the service and it quite good. But I had to back down since it was creating issues with redirects I specified in .redirects file. It causes 'too-many-redirects' error and I couldn't fix it even with steps recommended in docs. Any sure way to fix it?

when i first discovered this I used the upload feature using a zip file and it's not good. You cannot easily make updates, but using github was very good. I feel the UI is a bit clumsy since I had to dig and spent some time to find the custom domain.

Hi hi. I currently have a Python project that I want to deploy as a web app. My (hypothetical) website will allow users to upload files. The files will be processed on the backend using Python, and then users will be offered an export file for download. Is this design possible to run as a static page, using Cloudflare?

What kind of processing? Is it pure python, or are you calling out from Python to other programs like pdf rendering or imagemagick or something like that? If it's pure python then yes you can write a serverless function in Python to do the processing and deploy it as a cloudflare worker. You could also consider compiling your python program to webassembly, which could allow you to run the file processing directly in the user's web browser (would even work offline) without any serverless workers. If you have a link to a github repo for your python project, or a more detailed explanation of what kind of processing it's doing, someone could probably answer your question better.

@@fennecbesixdouze1794 Thank you! This is very helpful. I am new to web and have been confused by the limitations of "static" sites. My software is meant to generate FBX/GLB files, from columnar CSV files loaded by the user. This is similar to what Microsoft Garage did with the Charts 3D app, except Pavlov 3D (my app) allows multiple curves, axes, groups, and subgroups. My primary limitation for web deployment is a key dependency, the Autodesk FBX SDK (Python). Am I able to install a program like this to run on a server? Possibly as a Cloudflare "Worker"? Development for the local desktop version has relied on the FBX SDK, but we can migrate to Babylon JS, etc. I am aiming to create a web app that feels similar to Don McCurdy's GLTF Viewer.

@@fennecbesixdouze1794 The most complex part is the Autodesk FBX SDK. I think I can install this as Python wheel. Is that what Cloudflare Workers is for?
