Hey girl,it is heartbreaking to hear what you had to go through.I can totally feel you.I was there too.But i overcame that and came out stronger and wiser..And trust me there is so much more to life than all the negativities and hurt..You deserve better.😉 I stumbled upon your "living in an Rk in mumbai" video couple of days back and i loved it.I moved to Mumbai last month and am living in an RK apartment too... Ok girl, keep doing what you are doing..You are doing great..Stay strong, stay happy😊

Hey Anamika, I actually do not know how I stumbled across your page but I guess I somehow got lost in the wormhole of youtube. Glad that I did. Watching your video I couldn't help but agree with a vast majority of things you were saying and giggle a bit at the others (like the dating app situation, only found it funny because I once did that too). I am glad you've somehow managed to some extent overcome your battle with depression and everyday you're still fighiting the fight, little by little, just like most of us in this world who are spread across the corners of this world. Somehow for me, it always feels like a personal triumph of my own when someone finds that bit of courage to fight this disease. It is a battle one will always fight because as you said it'll always be there in the back of your head. Depression will always linger, regardless of how many fights we win. Some days you'll be the victor, some days not so lucky but as you said we shouldn't stay in bed and just give in. Men (human beings), always find comfort in wallowing in their sorrow - that's the breading ground for depression. We want to be felt sorry for. We want reassurances from people we love, reassurances from complete strangers. And it shan't be so. But then, our upbringings are also a factor (I think you alluded to this). Being a soon to be 26 year old South African man (not in any way attempting to make this about gender nor race) , I've always been raised to believed a man can never be "emotional", "weak" ,"sad", those are all traits associated with "a little girl" (and mind you I grew up around two older sisters and a younger one) - I think that's how most men are brought up. This creates a disparity when it comes to understanding our emotions and dealing with loss, pain, disappointment etc. I could talk all day about my daily struggles with depression Anamika but youtube would prolly fine me for texting too much on their platform. All in all though, I just wanted to say I enjoyed your video and insight into your struggles and triumphs. Carry on loving yourself, valuing yourself and understanding your self worth because you appear like a lovely young lady. PS: what dating plaform did you use ? might try it out for myself LOL 😂

you're most welcome and believe me not going down that route again :). I'll take your advice, try something new to do something productive - maybe I should enroll for piano lessons as a new hobby.

11:50 wat exactly did u mean by tat expression ??? i take it u meant those guys werent gud enuf ? not worthy ?? hahaa well well well my dear dear Anamika. i must say u got a lot of misconceptions tat need clearing up .. u made it sound like the guy was an idiot or sumthing but remembr this - u gals always hv this tendency to blame the guy if he doesnt behave or react to ur expectatiins. so for eg. if a guy tries flirting with u and just wants to play around hv fun then u r quick to term him a pervert or flirt or some unworthy idiot. whereas the actual fact cd just be tat u r just not gud enuf to inspire him to do or think the way u want him to !!! the same guy may be the dream guy for another gal and he may fall in love with her etc coz she had wat u were missing ! so the fault really is in u not him. not many gals got the modesty to accept this fact. and remember this quote always "the woman who thinks tat men r only after sex, is she who actually has nothing else to offer !!!!" bit of a deep thing it will take some intelligence to see thru the statement but im sure ull get wat it means. tc and gud luck in ur search for the prince or whoever
