Deputy testifies in Rebecca Grossman case

Deputy Rafael Mejia told the jury that he responded to the scene shortly after the Sept. 29, 2020, collision that left 11-year-old Mark Iskander and his 8-year-old brother Jacob dead, and said he was informed to look for a white vehicle with front-end damage.

I look at the damage done to the soundly built mercedes and think... that damage occurred when the car came in contact with a little 8 year old boy and his 'not big" 11 year old brother... It is HORRIBLE to think what was done to those innocent little children.. She was so "out of it" that she didn't even know that she had hit them/murdered them. She deserves all the years in prison that she gets.

So she had several margaritas with her affair partner? And then decided to hop in her luxury car and race him back to her place? And ran over two kids and didn't stop? The only reason the car came to a halt was because the airbag deployed. This woman is lower than despicable. And being a socialite with connections, you know she is going to try to get off with a slap on the wrist. She probably is mad that her car needs to be repaired.

Why not do forensic tests on Dodger's pitcher car and contact all body shops to see if any repairs were done prior?

Because her car/ Mercedes deployed air bags and called 911 for her, because her car indicated it was in an accident. Then the 911 operator and the Mercedes person asked " did you just hit the two people? because we are sending an ambulance right by you" The dodgers guy even though he was racing her, his airbags did not deploy indicating he didn't hit anything. Basically her car ratted her out. 😂🙂

@@gdenny1748 my point is that's why the prosecution needs to show forensic evidence or lack of on dodger's car to refute defense's argument, and issue subpoenas to avoid a beyond reasonable doubt hung jury.

This is a no-brainer. This woman needs to go away for the rest of her life. The lawyers, I can just imagine are going to be pretty evil and lie. That's what you do for the rich I hope the verdict of guilty comes back, and her children do not think that they are above the law as they grow up in their posh life.

.08 on Valium, car reports going 81 mph. Kid launched 254 feet. Daughter changes her story. Witnesses point at the White SUV. Defense witnesses dont have all the info and points the other way. Yeah guilty

@511cel2 nothing shows another vehicle was involved. Tries to blame they weren't in the crosswalk to another vehicle. Nothing holds to what the defense says. Been following the case since it happened by my office.

She doesn't even attend her own trial. And you can bet that she has a strategy. All of that money she donated to Newsom and Biden-Harris political campaigns? That's the chip she'll call in. She will have her sentence commuted and/or be pardoned. You know, "For all the great work" she has done for her husband's foundation. And she has been getting a big tax-free stipend to cover her expenses as the foundation chair.

Their best defense was "the other guy hit them first"? The only way to know that is by admitting you saw the black vehicle hit them, hit them again and STILL didn't stop for half a mile? The lady's 2 kids were at the verdict while the other family don't have their boys anymore... I'd ask if they could be any less considerate, but the answer would be just as disgusting as the fact that she had no problem driving and hitting 2 kids without stopping to see if they were okay... Obviously they weren't, but what if stopping and checking could've saved even 1 of their lives? I genuinely hope she never has to know how it feels for someone plowed through and kill her kids and didn't care to stop. Nobody should have to experience hearing that news.....

Did you hear the latest testimony? Her daughter testified that she was threatened by Scott Erickson not to say anything about seeing him hiding at the accident site. He also sold his vehicle he was driving that night after telling investigators OVER THE PHONE he never hit anything and they never followed up to verify. This leaves a huge hole in the story. They may of both been speeding , but its more likely he hit the children first and Rebeccas car was damaged from the body fallout.@@strangher11

Nice try. Her attorney has had a DUI in his own past, which explains his repulsively dense absence to cognate taking responsibility for blatantly obvious double murders re/ his unconscionable client. How would SHE feel if it was the other way around & it was HER two children mowed down & murdered and then, on top of it afterwards, some adulteress speed-racing drunk murderer put HER through absolute hell denying it? She has NO conscience and uses ruthlessly cruel & unusual punishment on the little boys parents.
