Tenebrae performs 'Der Mensch lebt und besteht' by Max Reger, a poignant sacred motet about the fleeting nature of human existence and the brilliance of the world. This video was filmed in St Augustine, Kilburn by kind permission of the Vicar & Churchwardens.

I have been a devoted fan of these glorious musicians, directed superbly by Nigel, since I happened upon the stunning 2011 Tenebrae concert performances of music by the composer Paul Mealor. I have enjoyed choral music for my entire life, and the astonishing gifts of these singers are positively addictive. Be sure to listen to all that they offer; there’s an incredible catalog of music here.
