When I first saw “A Star Is Born” the music, performances and the topic really moved me. I felt inspired to create a cover that included two of the songs from the film - “Shallow” and “I’ll Never Love Again”

I totally agree with you. I just think since Derek isn't promoting himself as a recording artist and is mainly known to be an incredible dancer, it's difficult to expand your reputation beyond what your known for.

He truly is. I had no idea he was a singer, until last night. To me, it’s more impressive that he just *lives* his talent, vs overmarketing. Feels more genuine. People will discover when it’s their time to. ♾☯️🧠⚖️💜☮️♾

Now that I've recovered from the shock of seeing such incredible beauty, I can communicate. Derek, I have been a fan of yours for years, going back to your skinny kid days as the best dancer on Dancing. But my God, you've grown so much as a true artist. All I knew about Michael was his incredible performances on WOD. After he lost, I prayed that you would mentor him and help advance his career. You've done that by putting him in this exquisite video. All three of you have climbed a few more rungs toward the stars . Thank you.

I think that Derrick has a great imaginetive mind, soul, and heart. I've always watch DWTS but not since Derrick left. He was my favorite. The fact that he added Michael Demeski and Charity Anderson was a really nice surprise. I'd have loved to have seen Andrea ( Charity's partner) -- sorry I don't know how to spell their names -- added too. Keep up the great work that you do to add so much joy to our lives. Great dancer; great choregraphy:; great person. Never leave your giving of your self to your fans -- take time to answer their questions, take that picture, sign that autograph, and keep being down to eàrth. Jill T.
