WHAT IS DERMAROLLING
So microneedling is a very recent development in dermatology.
Invented in the mid to late 1990s, believe it or not.
So it’s only been with us for about 20-25 years.
Which is all the more incredible when you consider how simple it is, as well as all the different conditions it’s been used for, which we’ll come to shortly.
The first medical article to describe the potential of microneedling was published in 1997…by a Canadian doctor called Andre Camirand.
Dr Camirand was using a tattoo gun to treat patients who had hypopigmented scars after getting facelift surgery.
So hypopigmented means that the scars lacked melanin, and were very pale compared to the rest of the normal skin.
When the doctor saw the patients again after a couple of years, the artificial pigment he had injected had all but disappeared.
Nevertheless, the hypopigmented scars had a vastly improved appearance, with substantial repigmentation.
So the patients’ own body had generated the melanin to cover up the depigmented areas.
The doctor concluded that it must have been the actual penetration by the needles themselves that caused this healing effect.
So he started using a tattoo gun without ink on other patients. And he soon discovered he could improve all sorts of scars caused by plastic surgery.
In the doctor’s words, “the puncturing of the scar with needles had something to do with breaking down the collagen, realigning it, and bringing melanin back into the scars…We noticed in some cases a new vascularization was provoked..The scars were much softer, mobile, stretchable, and less evident”.
Interestingly, he also noted that in some cases there was hair regrowth.
In the two decades since that paper was published, microneedling has changed the face of dermatology forever.
As the Canadian doctor suggested in his original paper, microneedling disrupts the collagen that forms scars.
This results in remodeling of the tissue and surface of the skin.

This channel has great information and advice for hair loss and regrowth but I have to call out your dermaroller, it uses bladed wheels instead of individual needles and the needle count is too high and the depth ideally for regrowth should be 1.5 mm. If anyone is interested in dermarolling please watch some videos on fake vs real dermaroller as unfortunately this one seems to be a fake.

excellent video the best one I have seen. this video has convinced me to give microneedling a try, using your products. I will be using hydrogen peroxide as the disinfectant, which I have long experience with. peroxide, when carefully rolled on to zits with a Q-Tip, followed by a moisturizer, rids the zits in 48 hours. I may use liposomal vitamin C (after the microneedling) as the scalp tonic. after nose cancer, liposomal C made my skin grow back perfectly.

Ok, can someone enlighten me? So we all try to restore or maintain our hair, isn't it just lame to cut hair so short to be able to dermaroll? I had pretty long hair which i finally cut but on top of the head it's still 2 inches long. Can i dermaroll? I don't wanna cut it more because i don't see any point putting all that effort and have a way too much short hair. It would be easier to go bald for life and do nothing. Also, just started minoxidil as well

Thanks for detail explaination. I would consider 1.5 mm per week too frequent if you are pressuring it to see some redness (not blood). I think key is to give scalp time to heal when dermarolling.

So I got my free dermaroller a little over a month ago, and been using it with Finasteride, minoxidil, and the scalp massages for just the past month and my gains have been fucking amazing. I'm 30 and my hair loss wasn't that advanced I'd say pretty moderate, I started Finasteride and minoxidil like 2 years ago which did stop my hair loss but I wasn't really regrowing much so you could still tell I had male pattern baldness. Adding the dermarolling once a week plus scalp massages twice daily helped DRAMATICALLY in one month for me, it's like the hair that's growing back isn't the thin baby hairs it's like thicker real hair, I feel like this has stopped my hair miniaturization in it's tracks. I can't wait to see how it'll be in like 6 months. No bullshit over here I really think if you do all 4 methods most ppl will see some kinda improvement.

Not it’s not. You can reverse your hair loss big time. Derma roll, was then minoxidil. You will need a dht blocker. I’d your scared of the big ones like finasteride or dutasteride, you can use saw palmetto. It actually works decent. Add some collagen peptides with biotin and your wet. Don’t stop though. Your treating it not curing it. So if you stop it will fall out lol.

At the moment, actually getting rubbing alcohol to clean your dermaroller is the hard part. I guess you can boil it.

No need for that. Just use a water and bleach solution, and wash it later with more running water. That's how teeth brushes are supposed to be cleaned with you do not want to change it.
