Honestly, it's beautiful knowing that this Actor (Dermot) was ethical, moral and kind to these young women an a teenager ❤. So many men were "predatorial" and it's to see that some men were "good" men😊

I had the privilege of meeting Dermot last month. And i can honestly say, he was one of the nicest people i have ever met. Very genuine and took time to joke and spend time with my kids. It meant alot. ❤

That was wonderful. You could actually feel the love and admiration among them.

I knew I was gonna cry and I still showed up. Dermot is as hunky in real life as he is in the movies.

Dermot was great in all those girl movies of the 90's though! In addition to Bad Girls, he was in How to Make an American Quilt with Winona Ryder and of course the Julia Roberts classic My Best Friend's Wedding!

This is the story I’ve made up in my mind but it makes sense lol! Hear me out..I feel like 17 year old drew did not know how to genuinely connect w/people, especially men - without it being about sex/ partying and maybe “flirted/ pursued” Dermot, who was/is a dreamboat. But being a stand up guy at 30 y/o recognized that Drew was a kid that needed to be taken care of and didn’t take advantage of her. Told her she’s worth way more and that entered a genuine friendship with her based on love and respect. Her reaction alone to seeing him speaks volumes. I say this with just my observation as someone who has loved them both since the 90’s.

as a Scream Fanatic! I also love the Scream connection with Barrymore and Mulroney. Drew Barrymore was in the original Scream, while Dermot Mulroney was in Scream 6.

Nothing against her but MacDowell’s awkward laughter made me feel uncomfy. Thank the Lord for Drew’s secret guardian angels through the years though. Dermot’s “I can’t believe I’m seeing you” made me cry right along side them. Bringing her a tissue and calling her a survivor?? Dermot is PEAK supporter.

None of them got along with Madeleine Stowe back then and I guess nothing has changed. I remember when this movie came out and Drew threw some shade at Madeleine in a couple different interviews (she named her as the co-star she'd least want to run into in a dark alley and clearly went out of her way to not mention Stowe when complimenting everyone else individually)...and I remember MS in an interview saying she didn't think the other women liked how much she "cared about the work" 🙄 Doesn't seem like Madeleine makes friends with too many co-stars. Its funny to see them talk about the movie now because it was a notoriously difficult shoot that was suspended after 2 weeks & the original director fired (which was said to be due to no support from the producers and the constant complaints from one actress to the studio). Drew was already signed up for Boys On The Side when she filmed Bad Girls and she tried pulling out of the movie because she had a horrible experience shooting Bad Girls and wasn't willing for a repeat making another female ensemble - but Herbert Ross wouldn't let her and it ended up being one of her best experiences making a movie.

Also, I'll name some female empowerment movies from the mid 90s besides that 1 Drew was in...league of their own, sister act, Thelma and Louise, death becomes her, and several others but it's a longish list, and that's just the early 90s... There were tons in the 80s too, and the 70s...so does he even work in Hollywood to not know movie history at all? He seems like a nice guy, but dang I am tired of this show just making stuff up.
