See that's the thing. I remember ESPN that night and they kept talking about how Lin outplayed Deron Williams. This clearly shows that the whole idea was blown out of proportion. Deron did a lot for his team and even arguably put up better numbers (a double-double) I mean, 4 assists is better than 3 points so it's not like Jeremy Lin did better. I remember like 10 games later they played again in the garden and Deron just dominated it wasn't even close. The whole Jeremy Linsanity fad was so blown out of proportion. Deron actually had a better game, it's just the Nets were so shitty I mean who did he have to work with? Farmar? Humpheries? Compared to Lin who had Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler

Reason qhy its so famous is because a bench player that had basically no minutes before was able to compete on the same level as d williams before he was bad. And he did put up many points for the rest of season.

Lin did better than deron because deron couldn't stop him. Deron was killing the knicks before lin came in but when lin stepped in his game wasn't as good as he started out. We can clearly see that the knicks could have lost without lin

I remember D will dogged him the next time they played. Lin was guarded by Farmar most of this game anyway. They have to mention Deron to make it more of a story. When Lin had 39 against the Lakers, they were throwing Kobes name around like crazy.

I think Lin would've grown more if the knicks kept him in the team. I'm a Lakers fan but if I was NY, I'd take Lin back. He belongs there not anywhere else.
