I’m a huge Bama fan and watched his entire career at Bama. Dude is a beast. But if you don’t give him the ball 25-30 times a game he will not produce. He’s slow to get going but once he gets those shoulders straight he’s a monster. He’s not a back you share carries with. You could see a lot of those defenders just passing on trying to tackle him. So the more you run him the more those defenders hate trying to tackle him over and over. I think the second round was right where he belonged.

1:44 Damn. Henry went to the right then cut because he saw an open hole. Look at the linebacker. The linebacker gets confused when Henry makes the cut and goes too far out. Before the LB knows it it’s too late and Henry catches a block from his offensive lineman. Henry dodges a tackle and heads straight to the end zone covering the ball. Nice play. 0:00 Henry keeps going to the left and as soon as he sees a gap he heads straight for it for extra yardage. He tries to juke last a defender but the defender makes a perfect wrap up tackle. Good play. 0:26 I love this play. Henry just goes straight ahead trying to avoid getting a safety. Before he turns up and shoots out the hole he dodges a leg tackle from a defender. Once in open field Henry stiff arms the fuck outta AJ Bouye and gets a 99 yard TD instead of a 30 yard gain. You can see Derrick Henry accelerating faster and outruns the LB #48. He stiff arms him as well and then cuts back and makes the LB fall to the ground. He does a little stiff arm to #48 as well to avoid getting tackled. Two things I love about this play. Henry’s ability to create separation from defenders with his stiff arm and gain extra yardage and his ability to accelerate. Henry doesn’t have much of a fast start off but trust me, once he gets in stride you can say good bye. Fuckin great play. 1:56 Nice vision. The whole play shifts to the left and Henry sees that it’s blown up. He immediately goes to the right and sees yardage. This is what I was talking about, look at him in stride. He catches a good block from a receiver and look at who he’s burning. Henry burns Bouye and Ramsey can’t even catch him let alone touch him. Henry is so underrated. Feed the man more and just give him one hole. That’s all he needs and I guarantee you he will get progress. Roll Tide!!!

Today, in L.A., where I live, everybody is all of a sudden a Rams' fan - get the F@#&& outta here!!! Jokers that can't even spell Rams or speak English are swaggin' blue & gold. Where in hell were these cats in '14, '15, '16, '17? And now "Henry is a beast!" Yo Foots Locker and Action, NFLshop.com, Eastbay, and all Nashville merchants, you just got set up for an early Christmas that will extend well into the summer - easily. Get those jerseys hot on the presses. I wonder who's next month's messiah that no one saw coming but now claim that he/she is so underrated. Sheesh... BTW, congrats Henry. Perhaps, your historic night will prompt more coaches to utilize more of the NFL 's true bread & butter - the ground game - as opposed to coddling team ownership and NFL leadership with these high-flying trapeze aerial attacks - all in the name of putting A&##$$ in seats...
