Notice how Ross stayed in his lean through the entire 40; all the other sprinters were standing straight up by time they hit the 40 mark. Form is everything.

Though as a runner u shouldnt really be accelerating the whole time with a forward lean. If ur trying to reach top speed u should just about be upright maybe 5 or 10 or so meters ahead of it. It depends on the person. But usually ur (close to) upright around 30. Still have teeny lean of course

As a sprinter let me tell you that their technique is awful but they are just so fucking explosive it blows my mind, I wonder what their time could be if they trained for it. Goodwin looks faster because his technique is worse, look at asafa powell who is the most technical sprinter and you will see he looks like he is jogging

@WillyBallsPornstar I agree he could break the record, he could probably score a 4.19 but he could not beat coleman 4.12 scored on the same ground with the same shoes as the NFL player, anyway tyreek PR is 10.19 he never scored 9.98 or 10.01

You're absolutely right. His knee drive is insane, and at 5'8 hes carrying a good amount of weight with him. However, longer legs are preferred for speed. Coincidentally, Ross looks like he had the worst technique on this list

Bo (and Deion) ran 40s before electronic timing came along and therefore are not counted. They were hand timed which is a big difference. A human timer has slower reaction time to start and stop a clock) plus are not very accurate on when a runner crosses the line compared to all-electronic timing. Most likely Bo's 40 was in the 4.23 to 4.29 range.

@@patrisio3 it's almost certain bo never ran below 4.3..he weighed about 220. no one who weighs that much has ever come close. he likely ran an honest 4.4, which is extremely fast, especially at that size..his best 100m time was about 10.45, which isn't fast enough to be considered for olympic training..10.1-10.2 for that..
