I like the idea that we don't perceive the world incorrectly, but we perceive the world using visible light and translating vibrations of the air molecules (hearing). If we understand that all around us are many different types of electromagnetic waves on the spectrum that we haven't evolved to be able to detect, then we can at least come to the conclusion that we just have a specific and limited orientation to perceiving the universe. I think what is concerning to most people is our ego moving past it's innate protection of the need to be right about everything, including it's own reality. idk just a thought :) Thank you for the lecture Bonevac!

Not even an all powerful evil deceiver could deceive you into thinking the number 2 is the number 2.

It seems that if an individual is a conceptual perspectivist (someone who is a perspectivist and believes that individuals see the world according to the concepts they (those individuals ) have, that's their perspective depends on their concepts ). I want to ask, is Nietzsche a conceptual perspectivist ? Are postmodernists conceptual perspectivists ? And from his conceptual perspectivism follows his skepticism ? The same question for postmodernists?

Four 'yes's, I think.

Amazing lecture! Could it also be argued that he used this argument in a way to later on support his belief in the existence of God by pushing it further?
