Amazing river and beautiful terrain. My wife and I are also planning to do a canoe trip in the Yukon. Thanks for the great video and highlighting a few of the river systems we were considering.

Great video! Can you give me your opinion of the Prospecteur 17 ? How was its primary and secondary stability?
@tailwindsnorth1905
@tailwindsnorth1905 Ай бұрын
Thanks! I would say that both primary and secondary stability are very good. I think we prefer the 17foot over the 16 foot for longer canoe trips even though they are a bit less maneuverable. Very good all round canoe for wilderness whitewater trips. The prospecteur 17 will be our #1 choice when we retire our old Dagger canoe.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to get the Esquif Canyon since I will use it for 75% to 80% white water. Athough the P17 would track nicer in the flat water... wish I had the cash to get both. Maybe I'll run across a used P17.

I'm also curious, how many drone batteries did you take? My DJI seems to burn through them.

Thanks for watching. I usually bring 3 drone batteries in longer trips and charge my camera and drone batteries with a few battery banks. The one thing you may have noticed is when you charge up your drone batteries they will discharge about 20% about a day after charging. I think this is a safety feature but it means they won’t have as much juice unless you top them up.
