Illustrates the development of the Braille System, which he created in 1824 at the age of 15, and how it was at first rejected and even banned at the Royal Institute for Blind Youth (where Braille attended as a child and was later employed as a teacher).

Hats off to this god send Louie Braille.A god for me and for my kids.Now my kids(students) have completed post graduation and BEd and is working in our school as Headmistress and Headmasters and college HOD,controlling even the sighted students and helping them to ..Without Braille they couldn't have reached this far ,equal to others."

In my class each person is reading and doing a poster of a book, one of them is Louis Braille.

How funny? If Louis hadn't invented Braille, there wouldn't be refreshable displays. I should know since i'm totally blind since birth.
