3:47 Exactly why he is my favorite, despite not “showing off” in the way that most others do. I think his humble nature as a person reflected in his guitar playing as well. He didn’t want the listener to notice how skilled he was; he wanted the listener to feel the emotions that his music could convey for itself without an over-abundance of embellishments. His unique slide guitar melodies in his post-Beatles discography also take more technique than people give him credit for!

I’d say Johnny Marr was the most influential guitarist in the shortest time. With the smiths, he wrote music for 5 years. Now take that sample portion and it’s the reason that every indie band today sounds the way they do. His influence goes beyond music.

This is probably one of my favorite videos I've seen by you. Not that your other content isn't great. But I felt it was a neat way to kick back and take a break from being guitar nerds a bit and appreciate the heros that we love. Awesome video idea. No negativity.
