UCP Universal Camo Pattern. "ACU" Army Combat Uniform. UCP is the camo. ACU is the Uniform style or cut. ACU's replaced BDU"S.

The khaki was by far the most effective, in every shot his legs were practically invisible and when he was wearing the khaki shirt and crouched down behind the Bush it still blended him in. I think the military should consider abandoning camo and go back to issuing one color uniforms, in my experience I have found the solid color fatigues have far more advantages than camouflage patterns. Since the early 2000's the Pentagon has spent billions of dollars trying to improve our camouflage and so far it has just been money down the tubes because every pattern that they have created to date has been ineffective. So in my opinion it would make sense for them to go back to one color bdu's only this time they could make them reversible one side OD for woodland environments and the other side khaki for arid environments and for urban settings they could wear solid gray and plain white for arctic terrains.

Try Pencott Badlands, it's pretty good in this environment.

My idea is that somebody make a cap, or boonie hat that has a light weight camouflaged netting attatched to the top inside so you can just remove the hat, pull the netting down over your face/head and pull the hat back on. The net would completely cover your head to shoulder length. When you're done, just take off the hat and push it back up into your hat.

Nice comparison. I do wish you would have reviewed the thing before posting for difference in audio volume levels between the (totally unnecessary) music and voice. Music LOUD, voice (which should be the focal point) very soft in comparison. Turn the volume up to hear the voice and you get BLASTED by the music. That being said, you do address a camo concept missed by most - DISTANCE. Most camp painters make stuff that looks good when you view it from 18 inches away. But the moment the object gets anywhere near real world distances, it all turns into a black blob.

Not quite true about Propper. Just ask Google. Sturm MIL-TEC © is also selling clothing with A-Tacs, and they are way cheaper. I have high quality ACU jacket and shorts in FG from MIL-TEC. The difference is that Propper is a little heavyer, and the sizes are a bit larger. (The shop had both.)
