no. a state does not have the right to keep off the FEDERAL ballot. state ballot, do whatever you want. but presidential elections are nation-wide. what if trump is elected, but not from the ballot of a state ? that will make him a legitimate president of only 49 states. 1 state will not have a president. the only way to take that power away from the people, is to secede.

This isn't excellent work at all. The conservative position has long been that Roe was wrongly decided because it invents a right that exists nowhere in the constitution. Rights not spelled out in the constitution are subject to regulation by the democratic process among the states. That was the conservative position in 1973, 1993, 2023, and also now in 2024. The Daily Show doesn't want to address the legal principle at play though because they need to demagogue instead, since they are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the DNC along with all other late night talk shows.
