Much like for many motion graphics artists and broadcast designers, #AI and Generative Art have been a significant influence on my creative process. This has inspired me to explore a fresh direction in this video, and likely in my upcoming ones as well.
In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how I not only use #Midjourney to draw inspiration for Broadcast Design but also generate visual elements that can be composited in #AfterEffects to create style frames for a News Opener."

Using AI to come up with abstract 3D news graphic render ideas is a great idea! Its always been so historically difficult during the initial creative planning phase when making these types of news graphics, because ecerything is so abstract, so having AI as a tool to help come up with ideas is great!

Absolutely solid video!! Just came into this realization the other month and have been dinking around in midjourney just like this, have found great results and creating new workflows that cut hours off your time is a lot of fun. Would love to see a video on you mid journey prompting hotkeys and tips/tricks, I seen a couple things i didn't know I could do, like the remix edited prompt quickly, loved that, will look how to do that.

What format do u export from illustrator? Obj, svg?

Hi! In my case I exported a simple Illustrator File because I applied the 3D extrusion in C4D. But you can of course export as OBJ if you make it 3D in Illustrator directly 😊
