Watch me draw as I walk you through using photo printouts and tracing paper to make three stained glass patterns.
Once patterns are complete, they are ready to be enlarged, copied and numbered.
Time markers for the start of each pattern:
Sea Turtle: 0:34
Ballet Shoes: 8:26
Red Fox in Snow: 15:13

This video was extraordinarily useful! I knew there was something odd about the placement of my own break lines that didn't make artistic sense. Thank you so very much.

Excellent tutorials and as a new stained glass crafter, very very helpful!! Quick question though as I noticed several geometric patterns shown on your HS curriculum pages. Do you use special tools when cutting all those straight lines and angles? Perhaps another video in your near future?
@LadyBerz
@LadyBerz Жыл бұрын
We don't use any special tools for cutting straight edges. Just practice and patience with cutting along the paper pattern pieces will make cutting smoother. The grinder helps too!

Hi, what if you just wanted a turtle sun catcher how could you reinforce where the legs meet the body, coukd you foil the pieces separately as normal & then put anoverlay of foil from the edge of body & wrap it around the legs to create a reinforced edge ?
@LadyBerz
@LadyBerz 3 ай бұрын
Yes, you can, and it would still be fragile. You can also do the same thing by tacking 18 or 20 gauge copper wire to the outer foil, and edge-finishing it in.
