To resolve a 21:10 service error on your Designjet 500 or Designjet 800 printer, your service station is dirty with ink and needs to be disassembled and cleaned. The service station in this video is typical of used ones. Simply disassemble and clean with lukewarm water in a sink to clean out the ink residue.

YES YES YES....Thank-you so much! What a freakin mess I had down inside there. I did exactly what you said...took me 30 minutes...saved me hundreds! I wish I could buy you an E-beer!

Hello. I had 21:10 error. I just moved head carriage by hand leftwards and turned on the printer. The error has disappeared. Now display shows me with "cross" that Magenta is empty, and with "empty rectangle" that Black is not inserted. Is this problem can be solved with new Ink Supply Station replacement? I am having trouble removing the bottom of the service station. In you video it just magically happens. I have found 2 tabs on the side but don't want to force it

I have a 21,10 error code in my HP Designjet 110 plus. Is this method going to work?

My service station has a black connecting cable which I cannot disconnect and therefore I cannot remove it completely. However, I tried to clean it, reassembled it, restarted it and error 21.11 appeared

Hello. Sorry for my english .. I have a Dj500p. I had cleaning my service station and reassemple it perfectly (it's very easy) but, after put in the plotter, it is stuck and Hp message appears in the screen. I try many times but nothing happens. I had change service station to new one and the same problem happen. There are ghosts in my plotter?? Thanks, if you answer me!

@@FixYourDesignJet , call HP Assistance! Everything appears ok when i handle the service station outside the plotter but when i fix it in the plotter the white wheels are stuck and i have to do a lot of strenght to rotate it. It's a mistery. Outside all it's ok. Inside nothing moves and message appear! It's incredible. I have applied a lot of siliconic-oil in each hole in service station. :). Thank's a lot for your answer.

Hello. Thanks for your video. We have the same issue. We removed & cleaned out the service station, but when we re-installed it, we are still getting the same Error Code 21:10. Any recommendations?

+FixYourDesignJet Thank you for the quick reply! We checked that cable & it seems to be fine. We did order a new Service Station assembly, but it is not here yet. Do you think it is possible that the new one will work, or do you think we have another issue?
