Thank you SOOO MUCH!! I needed to create a video for a photography event so I stumbled through Canva and made a decent Instagram reel but it didn't have all the bells and whistles I wanted. Your very detailed and easy to understand video has helped me tremendously so I can now create the Instagram video I need! Blessings!

This is a great tutorial... I'm not sure if you covered this in more recent tutorials but for reels, the focal point of the video (you talking) needs to be centered and within 1080x1350. For those that watch reels in their feed anything outside 1080x1350 would be cut off and only visible if you click on the reel. Not sure if this makes sense?

Yesss. I needed this one. IG does a great job of options - but Canva gives even more control. And we can schedule these in the social planner right!?

Hi Fanshen, we cannot schedule Reels at the moment. Instagram’s API allows to schedule Instagram photos and videos, but currently, it doesn’t allow to schedule reels. So the issue is not with Canva but with Instagram's API. Hopefully Instagram changes this soon 😉

*I doubt they edit their own videos at all. Most people at their level have editors. I used to watch a channel that was geared towards MOBILE device users, however, when I found out they never once used a mobile device to record or edit their videos I was disappointed and unsubscribed and stopped watching. The channel was a pretty big channel too, so extremely disappointed.* 🤷🏾‍♀️

Create on computer, then open Canva App from mobile phone, Download it in your Mobile and then upload on instagram. easier way.

I was hoping I could record and compile my reel on my desktop using my webcam, and I'm having difficulty. I don't understand why it seems so complex, but you've said that your method is an easier process.
