Hi, thanks for watching and for the kind comment! Yes, your right, it's not a pretty solution but if you have lots of potholes like we do and want to save your hubcaps, it's effective.

I did as you said thieves cut the zip ties and took them. Potholes aren’t even the issues no more, humans are. 😑

I had TWO hubcaps spin off the wheels today in One journey! Fortunately I recovered them plus no damage done to my or other vehicles! Will certainly use this method now. 👍🏻 Does mean 2 things - you need to keep scissors in the car, so you can cut them off, if you need to charge the wheel (for access to wheel bolts)! Also if you need to inflate tyres, as the valve can be hidden behind the hub cap!!
