A nifty trick I learned to keep those pesky hubs from rolling down the intersection.

I learned the hardway and now I always remove my wheel covers before I go to any shop to do any tire work or new tire installation. If it going to break it will be ME doing the breaking. Many tire shops go through workers like water going through a strainer. They are either very inexperienced, or in a big hurry and break the wheel covers. Sometimes they will even put on a lug nut the wrong way and strip the thread and tell you you came in with a missing lug nut. Just BEWARE if you're going to a tire shop!

Think of the two options I would go with the zip ties-the electrical tape would make the ring too tight to take off and break the actual hub cap. These plastic hub caps become so brittle after a short time of use. Thanks for the tip.✌️

Thanks for this video. I got brand new hubcaps do not want them getting stolen. I had a nice hubcap stolen one time since someone was jealous at a beach park.

It is like we can't even show off what we have anymore without people wanting to steal it from us.

Thanks for the tips, and to wrap it up, if we put the electrical tape around the ring thing, it will most likely snap a piece off the cap when we have to remove it?

You need to stabilize the movement of your camera. It jumps around too much so you can't really see what you're doing.
