Love your videos. We are owners at Ocean Pointe and just returned from there 2 weeks ago. We have stayed at Oceana Palms once and I agree with all of your comments. Regarding parking at Ocean Pointe, we always could find outside parking next to our building. We never park inside because the spaces are tight and there are a lot of columns to maneuver around to get into a space.

I think time of day sometimes impacts availability of spaces. Coming back later in the evening, we have at times been staying in Dolphin but found myself having to park down on the other side of Pompano in order to find a spot. I do agree about parking under the buildings, it is a pain trying to navigate in and out of spots with all the columns and how narrow the spaces are. Then you always have someone in a big truck or van parking in a spot and making the ones beside it even smaller. Thanks for watching the videos!

Excellent comparison between the two resorts, both seem like great places to stay. We’ve never stayed at either but have done so at the nearby Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island.

We have never stayed at the Marriott Singer Island. I have heard it is fairly nice. Any time we go to the area it is either at Ocean Pointe or Oceana Palms. If you ever have the chance, you need to check them out. Thanks for watching!

Love the battle royale! We will have to try Oceana Palms the next time we come sense we have staying at Ocean Pointe two times now! Luckily we haven't had an issue with the parking at Ocean Pointe yet! I will add the last time we were at Ocean Pointe the pools were so hot by midday that it wasn't enjoyable to go in! Great video like always!

Thanks for watching and hope you are enjoying Ocean Pointe. Kingfish is a love hate thing for us. We have found parking on the weekends to be a bigger problem than during the week. One time at Kingfish last year, the parking lot was packed on a Friday night. People were having to park in non parking spaces. A good thing about Kingfish is the great path that goes along the inlet. Enjoy the rest of your stay!

@@DestinationTimeshare I can definitely see where parking would be an issue on the weekends and I definitely would not want to park in non-parking spaces! We have liked the low more laid back feel of Kingfish compared to the rest of the resort!

Great video Jeremy! I just finished my stay at Oceana Palms and I have to say I liked it more than Ocean Pointe. The free chairs at the beach are a complete game changing. The parking at the Oceana it’s not so bad when you compare it to Beach Place Towers that the only parking for guests are on the last floors. The pool at Oceana felt very crowded so you have to arrive early to secure some chairs

I agree about the parking at Beachplace Towers, awful. Both Oceana Palms and Ocean Pointe are great in their own way. I have heard complaints about pool chairs at Ocean Pointe too. Thanks for watching!

I want to stay in one of them but could never find a week thru interval thanks for this but I would stay at any of them at this point 👍🏼 thanks for your content

Thanks for watching. Yeah, they can be a hard exchange, especially if one isn't using a Marriott week to trade with. Ocean Pointe does sometimes show up in Getaway inventory from time to time. Last year was an anomaly, but there were a lot of them in getaways for cheap and they were pretty easy to exchange into. Though that was because most people weren't able to travel.

Try putting in an ongoing request. Sometimes you will get a match that you won't see online.

Oh I think I like the palms because of the better beach and big patios! May have to wait for that one lol so many great places to go too little time! lol 😂

Oceana Palms is certainly a much harder resort to exchange into. This year, you almost have to rely and hope on a cancellation and be checking very often. Even in a normal year it is a much harder trade than Ocean Pointe.

Great video! I’m actually going to stay at both resorts in a couple weeks. I’ve stayed at Ocean Pointe before (6 years ago) and this will be my first time at Oceana Palms. Look forward to some fun and sun (golfing for my husband). How is the shelling there in West Palm Beach?

Shelling in West Palm Beach isn't the greatest. Certainly not like it is on the gulf coast. Have a great trip, both resorts are fantastic!

I agree with you on all points. I am heading to Ocean Pointe for Memorial Day week because I couldn't get Oceana Palms but my preference is definitely the Palms resort for the quieter ambiance and beach. But since I'm having to slum it at Ocean Pointe (LOL) I'll request the Kingsail building which no one wants for a quieter experience. If you are there that week let me know and maybe we'll meet at the pool. Love to meet fellow TUGgers.

Thanks for watching CHristine. You really can't go wrong with either resort, mostly a personal preference. We think we prefer Oceana Palms a little more ourselves. It doesn't look like we will be down that way Memorial Week. We are actually spending the week before that up in Myrtle Beach at OceanWatch. We will likely be at home for Memorial Week. Getaways are getting more expensive and we have burned through all of our deposits until we can make our 2022 reservations. Would be great to meet another fellow Tugger. I have met many over the years.

Prefer Ocean Pointe for the flexibility to get a studio for two people. Cant do that at Oceana Palms. Just bring your own beach chairs and umbrella or buy them at wings. ..will be cheaper than renting all week.

We haven't stayed there, but we did drive past it several times when we stayed at Vistana Beach Club a few years ago. It looks like a huge property. Not many of the buildings are on the beach as most overlook the golf course. I would consider it more of a golf resort vs beach resort as it could be a long walk, or even require a shuttle, to the beach.

We aren't bog foodies, so I am not sure I can speak to the best restaurants. There are a few in the Ocean Walk Mall down the street. Probably about a 10 minute walk. And that's not even mentioning the wind tunnel that's in the Oceana Palms pool, which is another major drawback for me!

Hello.. Which do you think is better Oceana Palms or Crystal Shores?

That is a hard one because they are both great in their own way. Oceana Palms is usually easier to get to whether driving or flying. Close to major airports like West Palm Beach or Ft Lauderdale. Crystal Shores just has the smaller Ft Myers airport. As for the views, I think they are a bit better at Oceana Palms. The villa balconies are great at both of them with a slight edge to the gulf front ones at Crystal Shores. Though all of them are great at Oceana Palms. Crystal Shores layout is a little more cumbersome with getting around as it is multilayered. The pools though are better at Crystal Shores.
