You can go to the ultra knight during the regicide mission, saves a bit of time

You should always fully upgrade an exotic even if you don't want it because when you dismantle it it will drop 2 exotic shards instead of 1.

Hi man, tried this method and it works somewhat. Still wish that the %increase was higher. Used 11 SCs and got 2 exotics, which was nice.

kill the ultra boss and then play a crucible clash game and by then go kill the ultra again . I found it a good way to kill time

I actually used Three of Coins on the black garden and first try got an exotic! I was hoping it was an exotic weapon engram because I really badly wanted The Last Word after finding out it's really hard to get Thorn, but instead I got this exotic helmet that gives me evade for free, which is always a 3rd best in my inventory! (The helmet is the same as the dude in the video's helmet)

Nice spots for farming and that, I've been farming the 3 ultra's at the end of the black garden mission and got quiet a few exotics 2 in 1 runs sometimes :)

The last Mission for rise of iron is also a very good spot. At the end there are 3 ultras that spawn. Very ez loot farm

with this method i got : 2x primary,2x heawy and 1x gloves 1x boots(338)

Btw those exotic engrams ended up dropping high light in rise of iron. I didn't listen to what people said about that and I ended up getting a 339 nemesis star when the dlc dropped

A quick farming method that takes 20 minutes..

You know the Three Of Coins is a stackable effect right? Nevermind, he addresses it in the mission I got my only primary exotic from, The Black Garden.

I'm pretty sure that the 15 minute cool down is for the three of coins and it doesn't matter which boss you kill.

just a side note..i do believe that "15 minuet timer" for 3 of coins is a myth...i got 2 exotic drops on the last mission in the rise of iron story. "the iron tomb" where you have to kill 3 bosses..got one on the first, and one on the last one and it didnt take me 15 minuets to kill all three.

What's funny is I've been trying to get some good exotics for a while and just playing through I had 3 drop ever. 2 of them were trespassers lol

theres 2 cooldowns, one for using 3oC within 15mins if each others and one for using it on the same boss

So apparently, the three of coins boosts your chances of getting an exotic, but if you patrol the cosmodrome you can find a hive knight worshipping something. Kill him and try to steal treasure, and 3 hive ultra acolytes will spawn.

The hole wasn't put in on purpose. The real way to open that door is by killing the two major psions on either side of the room, which opens corresponding doors with consoles inside, then activating both consoles at the same time with a friend.

Thanks I'll give these a go. Been doing a lot of strikes on streak with 3 of coins to try and get legendaries as well. 2 things; Is there a loot penalty if you die(like less quality or quality? And why would I get reported if someone saw me exploiting one of these exploits?

the cool down for 3oc is on your charecter not the bosses : ) going to orbit switching ultras does nothing. u can switch charecters between exotics and that does work tho. anyway cool vid see u in roi!

I just got hawkmoon from a primary exotic, but it didn't show up in my inventory. I'm like wth. I got so mad and spammed my 3 of coins on the bond brothers and then I got the 1st brothers gauntlets and the my hawkmoon back lol.

Wait till the psions split into like, 3000. Then scream LEROY JENKINS!!!!!!! And gjallarhorn them! Year 2 would be best cus wolfpack rounds.

just do crucible with 3 of coins its so easy and for me i get it almost every time i use it in crucible. u dont even have to win the match or get kills all u have to do is not go inactive and your good

Exotics are fun but I have the two I like and want, what I need are legendary engrams armor that will be 320 light or higher, any suggestions outside of raids because I can barely get one person to join me on missions nevermind 5

Farming exotics work better if you have a three of coins, and you have a friend that also has a three of coins.
