At the beginning if you are looking for which grate to go into the correct one also has a flashing red light. It’s the only one flashing the rest don’t flash. Easy way to tell which is correct

Luckily, it doesn't seem too difficult with the Riskrunner when it comes to solo. The real hard part is not taking solar damage or dealing with the spider tanks since the Whisper is good at dealing with the tanks, but Riskrunner is usually being ran and heavy ammo is scarce.

funny to see the old rainbow shielded shanks back in force. also, both redone exotic missions adding an extra big boss at the end is just silly fun. Whisper has the big new Taken Ogre, and now outbreak gets a big new Brig.

Bruh… even with tier 10 resilience, arc resist mods… those enemies hit like a truck.. the final boss is a pain in the ass to do.. I loved that exotic mission back then (soloed the crap out of this mission too back in the days) but god.. they need to tune down enemies power a bit.. not really fun to get insta kill every time you spawn during the boss fight .. I’ve lost literally 6 minutes because I were spawn lock in the boss room..

How did you solo the room with the dial screens, right past the floor tile section, that teammates had to look at and relay that info to your other teammates? There was very little time to get that done back then, so I'm genuinely curious how that room was possible solo.

If you actually look at the map for this mission for the old version in the tile room it's actually inverted. I ran the picture through photoshop and I did find that the directions from the old version is in reverse.

Made it to the boss solo flawless and thought I would actually finish it flawless 😅 Yea that’s ganna take some practice. That brig is so tank at the end I was out of dragons breath and indebted kindness and swapped to my old Outbreak with the catalyst and just started pew pewing. Just floating to the left and to the right widdling his massive HP bar (for a solo run). Got there eventually but left me feeling there’s got to be some more efficient ways. A sniper is pointless with the brig until his faceplate comes off over halfway through his health bar. That’s why I just swapped to Outbreak. Once everything else is dead the brig itself isn’t too big of a threat if you stay moving and off the ground. It’s just tanky. Definitely fun and a lot of nostalgia flooding back. Looking forward to running legend with friends in a few hours.

would recommend outbreak and indebted like you said, but I've been running edge transit to blast away the face plates and melt the captain a little for the first phase. I'd also just use outbreak on the walkers unless you're really in a time-crunch

Quite the nostalgia trip. Not too bad solo if you have a decent build, plenty of time too. The crafted versom isnt leaps and bounds better but it's better than the base. It will shine more in pvp than in pve imo.

Well now I know why I didn't get the Outbreak after beating the final boss. I thought I was just misremembering the mission but turns out my run glitched big time because even the second set of enemies never spawned for me as well as some other encounters. FML.

My only problem with this, is this: I already have Outbreak with 5 digits worth of kills (18,126 as of this comment)... If I craft this same weapon anew, can those kills be transferred over to the newly crafted or do I have to start from scratch? Please tell me someone at Bungie thought that far ahead to conviency.

Oddly enough I did this years ago with not to much trouble, but now it looks daunting compared to some newer content. I wonder if it's worth it as I'm assuming you can get random rolls of outbreak at some point by doing this? If not I will leave it as a pass memory.

it's because it's on level with us on normal, and 20 levels above on legend. You don't get random rolls, just doing the base mission from Ada allows you to craft it and after doing the (time-gated)puzzles to upgrade the intrinsic perk, you can change it to whatever barrel, mag, and stock you want.

Jumping is my kryptonite so the original of this was jumping puzzles from hell. This was the most difficult activity I'd done in destiny. For me GMs were/are easier.

It's only one catalyst, there is 3 new crafted traits so instead of outlaw you can have rapid hit,rewind rounds I think? And headseeker

Why do it hard whether you can do it easy? Shadebinder with Wish-Ender plus Whisper of Rending plus Stasis Turrents. Wish-Ender deals any type of shield and you can see invisible enemies. Statis Turrents and Whisper of Rending will provide 50% increase damage against frozen enemies, so the best combo for Wish-Ender.

Why is everyone complaining about jumping puzzles? I was surprised at the lack of them, and how short the ones they had are. Then again, i was just going for completion, not anything extra, so maybe i skipped some stuff?
