Just a tip, you can do the catalyst switches backwards which makes it much easier, you can flip the top switch first and then do the one at the bottom to get the catalyst

Yep this is how I did it. To min max time try doing it going up since you start at the lower switch. But if you fail hit the upper switch and drop down for an easy run.

Catalyst Switch: You can do it backwards. Meaning start from the top switch and then get the other one. It is easier and you will have more time left.

Found it's much easier to pull the switch above the silo door then the one on the ledge as it's faster to get down than up.

(Optional) Do the puzzle's first every week then wait for the last perk to release before doing Legend again. You'll knock out 3 perks in 1 run.

I worried since I didn't already have the catalyst and didn't want to have to do Legend just to get it, so I loaded up Whisper and did the Thrall room for about 25 min and got it. Super easy.

For people having trouble running out of time doing the switches. Activate the silo door switch, then go to the upper room next and activate that switch next, then back track to the remaining switch. It's much easier to do it this way. When doing the puzzle for the ship... you need to use Outbreak Perfected to shoot the targets. The catalyst was there when I went to craft my rifle the 1st time.

I had a couple who were struggling with the jump at the silo for the switches, figured out you can start in the silo room and go backwards (which is essentially falling instead of jumping) and that way they didn't run out of time.

Yeah and maybe one day I’ll get a refund for buying the deluxe destiny 2 base game for 100$ only to have them remove the dlc’s and make the game free. I did get a cool emote, however, so that was 100$ well spent imo.

You can do the switches in the silo room in reverse, I couldn’t get it, and noticed the top switch said activate. So I’m assuming as long as the switches are pulled, the two main switches may be pulled in any order

I just ran the two switches and you don’t need to go in a specific order so if you open the silo hit that switch up there, it’s a lot faster to drop down and go in the other room

Well, I'm happy that I don't need legend for the intrinsic upgrades and the ship. Only for the traits. So I guess I'm doing normal with 2 others for the upgrade and ship.

For the catalyst switch, you can flip the switch in the upper storage room above silo 3, then jump back DOWN to the switch by the bridges. It’s much faster and it worked fine for me.

If you already had the catalyst you don’t need to reacquire it. If you don’t have the catalyst you can get it from completing legendary zero hour.

I figured out that for the quest to get the crafting trait you can do the switch in the silo first and then go to the one in the big room and that is much easier than having to climb the silo.

Pro tip: you can open silo 3 then do the jumps and activate the top switch FIRST, then it’s easy to hop back down and action ate the bottom switch on the middle box.

If you have the catalyst previously you can just apply it to your crafted outbreak and if you did not get it before then you just complete legend mode to get catalyst

also to mention, if you manage to beat the mission on legend, (take this with a grain of salt as i am assuming kackis already had the catalyst), but if you dont have the catalyst, you get the catalyst from the chest for beating the mission. (I just finished my legend run for the rapid hit intrisic perk and i got the catalyst.)

You can equip the catalyst immediately after first getting the weapon from Ada-1. None of the steps in this video trigger this perk activation. I did have the catalyst before the crafteable version, so there is a chance if you don’t there may be something else you have to do.

So just like the catalyst for the whisper of the worm if you have the catalyst before this new mission came out you will already have access to it but otherwise you will get it from your first legend run guaranteed

For the first part of the quest It’s actually easier to go to open the silo doors and go up to silo 3 switch. Activate it get the 30 second timer, and go back down to get that center switch. Done.

SHOUTOUT FOR LEGEND! If u have a hard time going up from one switch to the silo switch... u can switch the silo switch first and work down to the second switch. Essentially running between switches backward

You can shoot one dragon breath rocket to those fallen spiders and they will blow. For example the two at the end. And that allow you to have a bit more time.

ooh i figured out the cipher! super ez, it tells you which room layout of buttons for each code, so square bot left room, diamond top left room and trapezoid right room, then it quite litteraly tells you which button to hit, arrows pointing to the location and the red filled ones are out side, and dark center is in specific room, square is kinda the easiest to see it on, where having both up and down inside arrows was confusing as to which room they would go too until i saw the button layout. being in for corners it is easy to see, where the orange ones having a middle and low high postions on the left and right god i NEVER understood the old one

For activating the switches for this week, you don't need to do the climb up, you can start at the top one and fall down and go to the one in the lower area and it works, atleast for now

The code at the end for the Insintric mod can be done in many ways.. I didn't not follow this guide. I activated different consoles in different orders and still got the completion. You can also trial and error, and it will still go through.

I tested this theory and you get about an extra 2-5 mins on zero hour when it says 0 for time left, any longer and it will just end

Also,in the first puzzle where you shot the diamonds with the patterns - you can’t use just any weapon. It needs to be the outbreak pulse rifle.

Fun tip: Dying with Lucky pants and Crimson makes you deal more damage since it reset every death, fully reload your Crimson

I found this out by accident. It’s much easier to jump to the top and activate the top button and then just jump down to hit the last switch. That 30 second timer is a pain in the cool-o. Doing it backwards is much easier.

For anyone struggling to complete legend I was just in a team one person was a bubble Titan I was a celestial nighthawk golden gun the other person was a well warlock with Phoenix protocol maybe try getting that team together then I think it’s just a matter of speed and weapon load out I was using impulse recombination mountaintop Polaris Lance and crafted song if ir yut with enhanced reconstruction and enhanced sword logic I think the other guy has fixed odds on but I think avalanche wouldn’t be a bad choice if you don’t have fixed odds Hope this helped some people out.
