I have to say evaze, my interest in playing Destiny has dropped off a cliff entirely - but you've been doing a fantastic job and knocking it out of the park in keeping me engaged as far as lore is concerned. Kudos.

Also worth noting the use of ”Pyramidion” since that often refers to the Vex structures on Io and Mars. Also there being multiple gardens lines up with that one scannable from the red war that said exactly that, which was also a Vex scannable, so somehow the Vex have a connection to the multiple world transformed into gardens by the precursors

So if the original tree of silver wings is where the final boss of GoS is... that would explain why it has light and darkness visuals (light blue and orange). I think it might be that the traveler was born from the tree, and is not the gardener itself, but a byproduct of it... Also you know how with plants, they need to be pollinated in order for their seeds to be fertile and grow new plants... what if the Veil is actually that... it's to fertilize the Traveler, because it's actually a FREAKING GIANT UNIVERSE SEED.

It is amazing how the Black Gardens appeared to be entire pocket dimension and they created them.

Its possible that the black garden is as close as the vex can simulate to the original garden (it being paracausal and what not). The vex themselves could be a part of the original flower game but like a virus/bacteria, the precusors could've just happened apon them as the traveller entered reality (like fleas on a dog) and then gave them "bodies" (the vex frames as we know them). So in turn the black garden could be those collective vex remembering the original garden via influence of the veil/witness and it being a stepping stone of vex simulations as a whole. Or even "the birth place of the vex" being that the original vex frames emerged from there.

there's 2 kinds of final shapre, this text is implying. 1. the "old" understanding, like Hive, Savathun, etc., and there's a Light version. the Light version is simply a planet/system having been terraformed into "the final shape" of having life on it, whereas before it didn't. like what happened to mars, venus, mercury in game. it was *their* "final shape" at having terraformed sufficiently to maintain carbon based sentient lifeforms and the entirety of a planet's ecosystem and non-life based systems like water cycle, etc to sustain that life. that's likely how they saw it. and when those ppl during their melding were - for lack of a better term right now - corrupt by selfish gain and desire for control and power - that idea of a final shape got corrupted into what the witness believes now.

Best D2 lore/story by far. Seriously.

Even though I dont play destiny 2 anymore I was Evaze and MyNameisByf videos. Something about Destiny 2 story intrigues me.

Waitaminute. RS has made devices using the Gardener's power, or that make use of it? And then fled? What if RS actually is in the Traveller? And that is who the Witness was talking to? And what if the Percola is a Radial Mast (being an artifact of the Light). It even mentions replacement sails, which might be for it, and what do masts do but hold sails? And what if those "glass" prediction engines were something brought along too, and the Vex are a result? The destroyed ship could have been destroyed elsewhere at a later point and still have this its logs. Or it could be what the Vex do to places. A ruined system? Remember Panoptes's dark future?

What if RS is the being inside the traveler n the witness is going there to add it to themselves so they can achieve their final shape. Much like how HN (the witness ) uses the darkness What if RS (the gardener) uses the light like the same. We will find out come the final shape.

Ok, so the “Gardener” is the one who created the “Traveller” aka: “Gardeners tool”. The precursor race are the ones tasked with using these tools to create the “Gardens”. The “winnower” prunes these “gardens” so that only the strongest most resilient ones remain?

I'm starting to think one of the Witness species is alive inside the Traveler somehow. Like trapped? Maybe to escape the Witness? Or maybe they tried bonding with the Traveler like the Witness bonded it's entire species together

unveiling is propaganda. i would say the flower can be found everywhere just on in sol, and its likely thatthe Black Guarden is a convergence point a little bit of everywhere and no where at the same time and the vex of the sol divisive built and converted it into a great machine
